They hate pot smokers and do not want to be associated with them.
Battle Creek, Mich.-based cereal and snack maker Kellogg said Phelps's behavior is "not consistent with the image of Kellogg."
If you have ever smoked weed you should probably stop using any kellog products.

They have every right to do what they decided to do with his endorsement. He should have better friends who are not trying to ruin him or make a quick buck.
When you know the reaction you'll cause with what your private life will do with your professional and you don't secure the one to protect the other...what happens is no one's fault but your own.
At least they are the only ones that dropped him.
