What stopped the Bush administration from going further? Anyone, ideas?

I like to think it was the grace of God Almighty that stopped the Bush administration...

Just because these guys are out of office and out of the public limelight doesn't mean the master plan isn't still moving forward. In order to maintain the illusion of democracy we have to have a swing from right to left, in order to keep the sheep engaged, pacified and hypnotized. The myth must be kept alive or the sheep start waking up.

They succeeded in their part of the plan, to set the stage through the bankrupting of America in order to usher in the New World Order so that international bankers can rule the entire world.

Whoever prints the money runs the world. Just take a look at the game of Monopoly. There is a lot of truth in it hidden in the fact that it is called a game. The rules of the game are pretty much the same rules of this reality.

What stopped them from going further ? They likely ran out of ideas. They had no shortage of lawyers, guns, and money. And no shortage of other means, opportunities, and motives to exploit the evils they per se launched since their 9/11 attack. But if anything could characterize these SuperVillians, it would be sheer lack of immagination. They're not exactly in the class of professor Moriarity vs. Sherlock Holmes.

It isnt curious if you know the ultimate goal is to totally bankrupt America and the ultimate plan. How many people really thought about why we are in the middle east and getting ready to move into the far east to Eurasia.

Although both have and are raping our constitution, there is no way in hell they can destroy the constitution and our guaranteed rights. I feared the Bush administration would fake (another) attack on the United States - on one of Larry Silverstein's other properties he had recently purchased and was allowed to insured for a thousand times what it's value was.

By faking (another) attack on the US, the Bush admin. could declare Marshall Law and all that and suspend our Constitution - or something like that.

Of course, it would have been obvious it was a set-up.

Hah Have no fear. Bush completed his part now Obama will complete his part. These criminals all have the patience of the ancient seers. They work in subtle steps. The European Union was a typical example of that. They have arrived at their next to the last step, the final step will be World Union. From the EEC to Economic Community to the European Union. The United States is a little more difficult because of the internet and the leaks, the people have partially awakened but their eyes are open but their brains are not in Gear. Obama is really trying to seal all of the cracks, like giving the Feds more power while Ron Paul and is group are trrying to open their pandoras box, which will expose them for what they are, Money Mafia. Imagine if all of the interest the Federal Reserve made from minting money were donated entirely to the US Treasury and getting rid of Geitner, we just might be able to pull out of debt entirely. Listening to Bernanke's excuse for not permitting an audit is stupid . These people really think we the people are stupid. He thinks just auditing the Fed we may just upset their act. I should think so. It will expose their crimes. So we merely switched from White Bush crimes to Black Obama crimes. As a constitutional Lawyer it is his duty to uphold the constitution and investigate the Bush administration for their crimes otherwise he will likewise be guilty. And the Afghanistan and Pakistan war just may be his downfall.

Have they really stopped? Just because they are not in the public eye anymore (except Cheney) doesn't mean they aren't still up to no good.

Bush is not the only one who is EVIL, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Feinstein, Schuymer, Clinton....

All these people assume they are in a position of LEADERSHIP. This is the furthest thing from the truth. I believe in the complete and total equality bewtween men. (Yes women too for all the people who will scream about being PC) However, there is one instance in which I am in a position of Master to Servant. That position is my position in relation to EVERY elected politician. I AM the master, and THEY are the servant.

Is this a trick question? What stopped them is our little fail safe. Term limits. Here's another one. How did they get elected to the second term?

Three things come to mind for me as to what stopped Bush and his criminal syndicate:

1) Time- regardless of all the immoral and illegal efforts Bush would have undertaken, he could never have had a third term. Blood would have run through every American street as people would revolt in grand display of real patriotism.

2) Precedent- this seems to have been the hallmark of his tenure, being the failure (or success, depending upon how much you personally benefitted,) it was, as President. The (il)legal opinions in his administration's favor did and will continue to have grave and perverted ramifications upon the general public of this nation because high officials entrusted to administer justice and equality were only serving their leader, not us. Already we have seen President Obama, willingly and/or regretfully, take refuge in the precedents bestowed upon the Bush White House.

3) The Constitution- yes, the Constitution, albeit in bits and tatters, kept the Bush administration in check. This is why he had to have his and his administration's legal counsel think up ways to subvert the Constitution. They did not yet have nor create a situation where suspending the Constitution would have found any support.

But that's just what I think.

I'm glad that crew is gone as well. They started the travesty of this war, and Obama, et al. is continuing the sickly death spiral. To the Neocons, their hero is Reagan, not Bush- but they still love Bush. It's not like they ran out of money! Probably just apathy, and a quick end to the war with bin Laden dead would mean a lot of profit and money that WASN'T being made. Keeping the war alive would have made it into a personal ATM, but Obama? He is as evil as Bush, if not more so....

I have nothing profound to say.... I'm just glad that crew is gone. To hear NeoCons go on and on and on that our economy is Obama's fault is a big joke of their own bigotry and denial. It didn't take rocket science to figure out Bush was destroying this country. The writing was on the wall in 2004...but the cattle were too busy fighting over gay marriage. Dolts. The cattle sure do love smokescreens.
