The picture is of the young man who killed himself on the playa. Also noted is the large number of sexual assaults, which is something not many people know about when they think of burning man. You'd be surprised how many people go out and either a) think they're totally safe and think nothing of going off alone while inebriated, or go to someone's camp and don't tell others where they are, etc. or b) consider burning man a place to find easy targets for rape and other sexual assault.It used to be I could leave my car totally open and I mean doors and windows wide open without a thought to theft, etc. No so anymore. Too many people that just don't get what it should be about. Sad.
