Tired of being an L-7? Turn Japanese -- PLEASE!

This is a site that basically captures Tokyo and Japanese street style in general. I've yet to actually go to Japan myself but I've always admired the effortless innovation, elegance and overall funk with which the Japanese dress. Seriously, these cats could make a Michael Jackson 'Beat It' jacket and a pair of parachute pants look like something you'd wanna rock.

Well----then again...I ain't gonna go that far. But, still, yeah.

Overall this is how you'd want your impossibly fly new girlfriend or boyfriend to dress when you took them to meet your hipster friends for the very first time and wanted to show them what REAL style - and cool - is all about.

    • I love the link but I really don't think they give insight to whats really infashion. I think their target audience is from the early 20's to early 30's.

    • Def without a doubt, perfect example of style, and there's so much of it in Japan you don't know what to do, expecially Tokyo.

    • Thanks for clipping this site Adriancito! There is nothing more eccentric when translated to English than Japanese fashion marketing.

I particularly liked Johanna Ho's "romantic" line, captured best here:

Getting intense on long telephone calls with friends past midnight...Hearty cooking for loved ones...Only women can savor the happiness of such moments.
