    • Abbym, his pieces are actual art though. I think that's the difference... they're not some stupid gang refrence...

      For the "brand" aspect, I think it's GREAT that these images are getting out. Who cares about indie if nobody gets the message you know?

    • Yeah his work is the shizz, but some argue that he's working under an apparent double standard. Other graffiti artists' works are quickly whitewashed while his get regular touch ups. What is essentially illegal work for most, Banksy is getting upwards of tens of thousands of pounds for his pieces.

      Do you think that the fact that Banksy has become sort of a brand takes away from his being the ultimate "guerrilla street artist"?
