Why are Louisiana people said to be stupid?

I am from Louisiana, and i am just as intelligent as the next person. Besides other people from diferent states can't cook!

    • never what we have been told, people i have met from other states always say that we have lower tests scores or something to that CRAZY extent..

      I was just wondering if that was actually true

    • Nah, don't be mean we can cook....ok I'll take chese etufe any day. I have gotten alot of respect from my stepfathers time in Lousiana, working to restore power in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. And from my Boss, who still considers New Orleans home. Its a truly interesting state, and one of the most storied I think. I haven't heard of any perception of stupidity, kindness, musical talent, yes but never stupidity.
