Very interesting documentary. I wonder how it would take off in London.. Especially the fashion sense cos its more that a bit too tight. Am surprised by the vibes that is created with Tectonic though in a good way. Cant wait to see what you get out of London. I still don't believe it even though Eddie said its already here. Anyway man keep it up. Good camera work

I've found the doc very interesting and fun to watch.
My thought about the new dance craze at first was very restricted to their clothes and i wasnt feeling them but now i can see that the mouvement is more about freedom of expression involving youths from any background, it brings people toghether.Make me want to see more.
Big up to the big F.A.B, funnyman Eddie, Jose, Judy, Arrnold, Alexandre and the rest of the team!!!

An interesting array of responses in relation to this particularly admirable piece of work. It's intriguing to see how various former trends are brought back and recycled as well as developed in an ever emerging, progressive culture, regardless - a thoroughly amusing and informative segment which leaves space for the individual viewer to draw their own conclusions.

Not my thing but hey, a little too funky for me. Still it’s a lot better than Line Dancing. Europe is coping US, that’s a joke, you whole culture is based on borrowed Ideas, but enough of that, the doc is well shot and Eddie Kadi presents it well. Good job, keep it up guys.

Every now and then I like to check up on what those crazy Europeans are up to. They're so adorable, but I guess thats what you get in post ww2 world. Its good though, that they don't emulate U.S. as much, and that they are, sort of, developing their own type of culture. Capitalistic Democracy has promoted rampant corporate imperialism, which I believe, over the last 60 years, has robbed, Europe and the rest of the world, of their heritage.

We already see professional, or so I had previously presumed, dancers in clubs knocking a bit of this out, kinda techno vogue style.
If it takes off on the streets it may be a positive influence that some people need, there was less trouble when youths carried rolls of lino and a beat box.

Loving the docu, would love to see the whole thing!
I disagree regarding the breakdancers, this genre is emerging and breakers are more associated with hip hop.Seeing as i've been on the hh scene for years I can safely say this with conviction.
I reckon this will take off here, it is fresh and the UK are always good at embracing change within music. Give it a chance.

Yeah, breakdancers are FALSELY ALWAYS associated with Hip-Hop, does the Rave scene belong to Hip Hop, I don't know. Man, it's tough and sometimes wrong to put things in certain categories. Breaks as a style of music is Rave and Hip Hop at the same time I suppose. I think HH, Rave, and Tecktonik are cousins.

This was interesting. I'm always interested to learn about youth movements in different cultures but honestly this just looks exactly how we used to dance at raves back in the late 90's! Except we didn't call the music eletro (or tektonic) and we had glowsticks! It also looks like a throwback to vogueing (which is very much still alive). I guess I'm getting old because I just can't believe kids are wearing all the wacky neon clothes I remember from childhood. The more things change...

...the more they stay the same! But you know what, no matter what the era, 70s Disco, 80s House, 90s Rave, or 2000s Techtokin, it's all the same concept, people getting together savely like a tribe, to good beats and great vibes, and that is what they have in common, and should never change.

No offense, but that's a very "American" opinion, automatically assuming we're better, cooler, faster, stronger; instead of appreciating what is there. Can't just let things be, gots to compare, separate, and name thing. Welcome to America, I'm glad I have a European mind set.

yeah, obviously they'd get beaten at a breakdancin battle against us break dancer, but that's because they aint breakdancers... i mean US break dancers would lose against brsilian capoera fighers right...??
plus, french breakdancers are some of the words best with the koreans and shit (look out for wanted posse and pokemon...)
i aint really into da whole tektonik thing, i'm more of a hip hop guy, by the way Fab, u should have them do a doc on the hip hop movement in france, they'll understand why we're the 2nd biggest hip hop market, and maybe UK talents will stop tryin to get in an oversaturated market like the states where even homegrown product can hardly break out, and try an open market like france, which could get them to belgium, canada and switzerland (countries which folow the french movements, thats why i always find it funny when i hear PROFESSIONALS talkin abut their marketing plan and trying to make it to the states.... anyways i aint here to talk marketing, but if u do wanna talk bout that, holla at me ;))
