Heavy Duty Lynn

sbyeon
Lynn's Heavy Duty Towing is open 24/7, towing everything from oil rigs to beached whales. The more difficult the tow, the more eager Lynn's is to take the job. Lynn Allen Menick, owner, sacrifices his 67 year old body and family life to keep up with the rigid demands of heavy duty towing.

    • Very compelling story. I think it could have been a bit tighter, and it could use a quick fix with the subtitles so they are easier to read. But very well done! (Nice stills too)

    • A documentary can lack technical quality and still be compelling. A documentary makes a point or tells a story and if that is accomplished, the production values are not as important. This is not to dismiss the technical aspects of filmmaking but if production quality were the sole goal we would be left with a CG life...visually persuasive and entertaining but with little lasting effect on a persons conscience or psyche

I'm sure it would be helpful if you can point out the technical qualities the documentaries are missing rather than just ranting nonsense. Some CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM would be a great help to everyone.

    • well done. good cut when the text read that his first wife had been killed and his youngest duaghters was in prison before asking him the question, Did you get to see your daughters much...his pregant pause and explaining he was a loner captured his resignation to how his life turned out at this point.
