The Temple of Artemis was once one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The rebuilding is expected to cost around $150 million and is being described as a reconstruction, rather than a copy or imitation of the original.
I'm thrilled to hear about this, and I have to wonder if this temple will become a pilgrimage site for pagans around the world. Or will it prompt the reconstruction of other ancient sites?
