Such a tragic story, and such a short life, but with an ending that makes this childs life meaningful. This one short life that made a difference in this world today.
I know what my wish is as witnessed from my handle here. My life is short too, all of our lives are short. If everyone took a few minutes a day to make a difference, we could change the world in a matter of days. Maybe the biblical week it took God to create the Universe.
Just one small thing you do will have the proverbial 'Butterfly Effect'. The wings of a butterfly flaps and moves the air that moves something else. One small flap of the wings times the flaps of billions of butterfly's certainly have a minuscule effect on the air around us. And just like the butterfly, Brendon Fosters life is short, but not without having a butterfly effect on the world, maybe on the Universe.
Much love and peace to this child that will leave us soon, and much love to his family that must find closure and a new beginning.
What is your 'Butterfly Effect'?

This is SO HEART WARMING!
This child is on his death bed and thinking of others… when most of us in perfectly good health are too selfish to give our morning commute seat to a senior citizen!
Bless his heart.

Hmmm...my "Butterfly Effect."
Each day, take a moment to do one thing, just one little thing, that will brighten someone's day.
It doesn't take much effort, and the more you practice, the easier it becomes. - 4 years ago

What a beautiful young man! He has already shown us what an angel on this Earth must look like! May we all learn something from his bravery and kindness. God's blessings to Brendon and his family! They are in my prayers.

There are few words after watching this young man's great wisdom at age 11. Far beyond the wisdom of most grown men and women. Oprah had a relationship with another young man who has now died..about this age also. It is as though both transcended this evil world and became angels in the flesh. God bless the people who followed his requests to feed those homeless people.
"out of the mouths of babes...."May God richly bless your family (I guess He already has)

I know they said not to shed tears but honestly, how can you not? I commend not only this lovely young man but his mother who evidently taught him well to care for those around him. Peace to you beautiful child, and know that I am comfortable knowing you will be doing whatever you can from the other side.
Peace!

What a lovely, caring young man, and what a genuinely moving tribute to humanity. Isn't it ironic that a child, in his last days, can be such an example of compassion and human kindness, and in the midst of his own suffering, strive to relieve the suffering of so many others? Truly an amazing story. My butterfly effect - ?

This young man's effort, in the face of death, is a prime example of altruism at its finest...
The butterfly effect will ripple through the passages as we extend our hearts and minds toward standing up for the progressive values that will make this world a better place for all to live in... if we can guide others onto this path, then eventually this world will find Peace...

If only the rest of the world could experience such sobering humility.
What that little boy did should be a model for how to live a healthy life too. Awesome.

The most compelling point in this article was maturity being displayed by an 11 year old. The the legacy is the empathy that will live on and hopefully generate more of the same. It's always amazing how a simple act of kindness can grow.
