The No-Car Diet

The Overshiners in Columbia, Missouri just sold their family car. They bike most places-- even during the cold and often snowy Missouri winters. Gina bikes her kids (Max, 10 and Anna Rose, 8) to school three miles away every day. They don't do it for health reasons or to save the world, instead they do it because they can.

    • This is a great family activity, helpful, bonding, increasing kids awareness at an age where the open to new things. Excellent idea - a lot of work with even more benefits. Fantastic.
