Graphic Sexual Horror - the most shocking documentary of 2009, premiering at Slamdance

Graphic Sexual Horror:

a journey into the absolute most outer reaches of the BDSM experience, this documentary about the Insex.com website is both repulse and mesmerizing, often at the same time.

As brave a piece of filmmaking as I have ever seen submitted to Slamdance. Imagine a documentary directed by Francis Bacon and you’ll begin to get the idea. See it before the Park City Police Department does.

What disturbs me is that the US goverment had the time and energy to persecute and shutdown a porn operation that did not have a single complaint from the participants,

but something like children killed in Gaza doesn't get an immediate response.

Double standards, violence versus sex, seems sex is much less accepted than murder.

The people vs larry flynt all over again.

Thank you for such an interesting response.

It seems that counter-culture and mass-culture constantly feed on each other and are in fact one and same.

The "what is art?" discussion is very limited, I think, like you said, what is much more interesting is the perception of meaning and value and how it drifts, along with acceptability in mass society.

What once seemed provocative and extreme suddenly turns out to be another reflection of fundamental human existence.

    • Since there has been so many different opinions on what art conveys to individuals and groups alike why not have a documentary film about what violent or unnerving bondage in film, art, and the internet that has transformed from the backstreet dark corners into mainstream media n accepted by society because we view it in some unusual form whether it be soft porn or whatever it is that people look at it in any prospective venue. Interesting n provocative at the same time.

I don't know if the masses are that way because of the media or if the media is that way because of the masses.

it takes two to tango... There are no innocents. We all make our own choices.

Fetish and modern society are completely intertwined.
Your speech patterns indicate that you are in fact "sick".

Luckily, that concept of being mentally unfit exists only in the mind space of sick individuals such as yourself.

    • It's not porn, and it's not art.

It's a mental problem expressing itsself. These people need therapy.

      This is not healthy behavior.

    • Does watching anything make you anything?

If only so, we could solve all the world's problems by a constant transmission of Teletubbies!
