I was outside at the curb looking around at the freakish clouds as the tornado sirens were blaring away. Ironically, yet fittingly, I was wearing my Twister t-shirt. After a few minutes the sirens faded and then it became eeriely quiet. Moments later, I heard a couple of snapping twigs in the trees around me. Then, loud thuds as the golfball and larger sized hail pounded everything in its path. Here in Fort Worth, TX was only a 29-second glimpse of what had happened that day. A few miles down the road in Haltom City, TX is where the tornado had touched down. Happy Good Friday!!! 4-13-2007
