I say let the 5% of AIG that is failing go broke and jetison it from the company.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
The financial industry is a parasite that needs exterminated.

If only we could have realised how bankrupt this company was 200 billion dollars ago and then we could have spent the money on something more important. It `s such a waste to throw this money down the toilet. I think AIG is the biggest Ponzi scheme ever, not Madoff.

Yes, forget about that "all men are created equal" garbage. American financial policy should be decided by race. Get real.

You think you can stop AIG. Good luck with pushing the river.

Sometimes, when companies go, they drag us with them too.

Have the government acquire a large portion of the instruments AIG holds. Then dissolve the company, auction off what assets it holds (use the proceeds to help the government cover the acquired instruments).
As it is now, the government is still having to cover the instruments (via the constant bail outs) AND finance failed management (and a workforce).

Exactly my thoughts...
Why should we all suffer for their mistakes? Let them fail, companies come and go...
