We all have friends that come and go. But it is the really close ones that we hold true and dear to our hearts that we have to treasure and cherish. Oneof365 writes about the loss of her greatest bounty—her best friends—when she puts work, her partner and a bloody cup of tea (explained in the blog) in front of them. Living in London for 8 years distanced them forever and now that she’s back in the States, she’s all alone. Heart broken, she realizes the hard way that just like they needed her and ignored them, she now needs them and they, rightly so, ignore her.
This is a piece about priority, friendship, self-discovery, and learning a life lesson when it may or may not be too late. A really sad but sweet tale about a lonely but lovely girl who is trying to get by in life one day at a time.
