High Pointe Ministries Has Evicted Dream High Farms (Rehab Farm for Special Needs Children)

I rode by the farm where Bannister was squatting the last time and was pleased to see the place is growing up in weeds. Apparently, her eviction from the Boston farm was successful. Wonder who her current victim is??

She has a knack for finding a victim and an attorney regardless of her evictions, felony theft charges, animal cruelty charges, judgements, and a history of non-payments spanning over a decade.

Kudos to Dancing Cloud for remedying an unthinkable situation.

AM...(note to self) get your drunk ducks in a row and away from the computer-instruct your fine feathered (but no doubt well-meaning friends) to not speak for Dancing Cloud - as they have so clearly done. Any more liquored up geese jumping on the soap box to speak on your or your rescue's behalf and that wooden platform is going to break and leave you with a splintered ass when you finally do step up and take your turn to speak. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING nice about what those animals looked like - heartbreaking actually. But not as heartbreaking as a bunch of illiterate rednecks talking much shit and f'ing up what the law is trying to take care of. What I do not understand is how anyone can say that what Dream High Farms did to those horses is moral or legal? And as far as AM well we should all thank her for the hard work she put into getting those horses out of that situation, and DCHR has done alot to bring those horses back from the hell they were all subjected to. As far as her relationship with the Lord that is no ones business but hers and God's. What I want to know is Nebulae are you for or against BB, because your email is full of emotional highs and downs. Another thing I would like to add is "Tommy Boy" from what I understand to be correct was holding those horses for BB. Well why would BB be having him do that, in my opinion it was so that DCHR & Thomas County could not confiscate them. Then she ends up dumping 50 horses on the man, please will you explain that one to me, because I would love to hear your opinion on that one as well. As far you saying that Thomas County used any kind of force in the seizure case well I think you need to recheck your sources. I could not see this being the case based souly on the fact that saying "he could be charged for being in a complicitous compact with the devil herself". I've never known Thomas County law enforcement to use any such language and unnecessary force in any matter that did not call for it. If this had been the case we all know the Bannisters would have filed a complaint against the County and to my knowledge no such things have happened. What we need to have is a prayer meeting for Becky and her husband because they obviously are not of sound mind and need our prayers to lift them up to the Lord so he may heal them. I wish that she could see what she was doing to all those animals. As a horse owner my self I know the expenses and cost, and I struggle at times to just afford my one. So how does a person feed almost a 100 horses plus all the other animals that were on the property? Unfortuantley in this case she was unable to afford the amount of lifestock on the farm. People and organizations asked to help her and take some of the animals off her hands. BB refused to down size her herd and actually ended up taking more horses. As far as all legal matters, felony charges are still pending against her. Check your story before you start pointing fingers. Please see that BB is a sick woman and does not need to get these animals back, or add any new animals to her already existing troubles. So I ask you all to see the error in her ways but be Children of God and get on your knees and pray for this woman. She needs our prayers more than our negative thoughts and comments. Lets try to use this negative anger and help the ones who need it which are the horses. DCHR still needs volunteers to assit with all the demands of such a large rescue. AM, people are aware that this is you. As much as I think that you are a pompous, two faced pseudo christian, I am very glad that you have the animals confiscated from the Bannister farm. Your friend 'Tommy Boy' has been heard in his church's men's group meetings speaking of the horrors he suffered (you are aware he is in a delicate physical condition) when your people bullied their way onto to his property -threatening him that if he did not surrender the animals and equipment belonging to Becky Bannister that he could be charged for being in a complicitous compact with the devil herself. Becky Bannister once again attempted to obtain yet another place for her animals and surprisingly, the deal fell through. You think someone actually checked her out? Or maybe someone tipped them off? Where is she headed next?

While at a wedding in T'ville last week, I heard from a knowledgeable source that Becky had just returned from NC with more horses. Is this unbelieveable? I guess not knowing Becky's history. Out of jaill on felony theft, charged with animal cruelty and facing eviction but she can continue to con people. Should she be in politics or maybe work for Goldman Sachs?
Certainly there is some way to get this woman shut down and put in prison where she rightfully belongs.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Bannister have been arrested on theft charges, in Thomas and Grady Counties. Ironic that the law enforcement officers overseeing the seizure in Thomas County saw the items that were taken from Whigham when the Bannisters left. TskTsk Tsk. Also, it needs to be known that one of the horses that was seized from the Boston farm has died. It went down in the storm a few days ago and was just too weak to get up. Humane euthanasia helped Little Bit cross Rainbow Bridge where she is frolicking through fields of green grass. Had Becky Bannister taken better care of Little Bit she would not have suffered the past few months. The horse was eating and looking forward to every meal. She ate all she was given, frequent small meals throughout the day an unlimited hay. Her body just could not recover from the neglect it had suffered so long. Shame on you Becky for claiming to love the very animals you neglected. You deserve more punishment than I am sure you will receive. It's sad that the Bannisters will probably be punished more for stealing items than for causing the unnecessary and painful deaths of numerous horses. I still would like to know what happened to LIberty, the beautiful gray walking horse that you refused to give back to your friend. That was a rescue that belonged to Dancing Cloud Farm Horse Recue. She was not to be given away or sold but rather brought back to Dancing Cloud Farm Horse Rescue to go to another suitable home. I am so ashamed that she ended up with you Becky Bannister. I hope you pay dearly for your gross neglect of these beautiful creatures.

If anyone has any doubts about Mrs. Bannister's sanity, please visit the facebook page of Dancing Cloud Farm Horse Rescue and read the posts and view the photos. The way I read it, Bannister just dumped about 40 horses in another county and DCFHR and others had to rescue these horses to keep them from starving. Amazing that she could not give them up to someone who would have cared for them but instead chose to dump them.

I totally agree with the lady who states that Bannister needs some rehab at Southwestern and hopefully any judge will rule that she never be around animals again except maybe in a petting zoo. This is not an incident of her being in over head, it is history repeating itself. Whigham, GA played once again. Hopefully the Boston farm owners will not have to spend the unprecedented amount of time and money getting Bannister evicted that the Whigham farm owners did.

Thanks be to God for legitimate organizations that protect helpless animals from animal hoarders such as Bannister. Wonder where her husband was during this fiasco? Can not expect the daughter to have any opinion other than her mothers as she has never been in a school. GA has a law that homeschoolers and their curriculums must be certified by the state but suppose that is just another law that does not apply to Bannister.

Let's support the rescue organizations and hopefully Bannister will quitely move far away and become just a bad memory, or maybe nightmare is a better word.

Here we go again ........ arrested for animal cruelty, 90 horses on 45 unowned, untended acres, 29 cats, refusing offered help to feed starving animals, etc., etc. This womans first charge regarding animals was in the 90's for keeping horses in a residential neighborhood in Tallahassee, FL.

And her sad story with animals has continued since. She does have a problem in that she thinks laws do not apply to her because she falsely claims to be a rehab facility for needy childeren. She has no credentials, no accrediations, no associates, no nothing except her "Dream". She historically ignores all court orders, judgements, eviction notices, payments due, rental agreements and has been getting by with it for years. Just moves from one victim to the next and people feel sorry for her because she loves horses and she must tell a convincing story. Well pedophiles love children but effectively destroy them just as this woman destroyed these horses. Lots of people love horses but should not own one, more especially in today's economy.

For the Humane Society lady on ABC Channel 27 newscast February 22, 2012 to say that this disgrace to society loves horses but was just in over her head and maybe their seizure of some animals would allow her to more properly care for the others was totally inappropriate and only made it more difficult for the property owners where she is presently squatting to evict her. She should be put in prison where she could not inflict any more damage to horses or people.

I am horrified that I did not know about this situation living only 1 hour from this place and having donated a horse to them when they first opened. I saw the pictures of the horse we donated on FB from the seizure of these horses. I am asking everyone that is also horrified and in the horse community to please call every politician you know to help us have this woman have charges brought against her. She needs help from seeing the pictures as someone stated it appears she is a animal hoarder. We donated this horse back in 2008 when she was supposedly swimming in funds. The facility was clean and feed available and only about 8 to 10 horses there but several little animals. Everyone was well feed at that time. TIme can change things but I am furious I heard nothing of this until FB today.SHAME SHAME on you for torturing my horse and how many other people's horses. If you could not realize that you could not care for all these horses you truly have a some type of problem!

Forgive the suspicion on my part - hard not to be suspicious of anything at this point. No accusation was made - just an opinion shared. I will be traveling to that new farm in two more weeks. First off let me start by, I had no intention of stirring it all up again. Here is my reason for coming to the blog. On Dec.13 I called Becky to get the address so I could send my horse some Christmas horse cookies, as is tradition here at my farm. When I called, she mentioned nothing about this situation, as I would have been happy to help. Instead, she told me the property she was on was too small and that she had just had 250 acres donated and they would soon be in the process of moving all of the animals. In fact she said they would have them all moved over in January.

So, basically, I don't believe she is going to tell me the truth, being that it doesn't exactly sound like she told me the truth to begin with. I had already been suspicious because I had asked several times for pictures and she would "take some and get back with me", but never had. I wasn't incredibly worried because I myself am a therapeutic horseback riding instructor and know very well how busy you can be. I have called several times towards the end of January with no answer and no returned calls.

I just want to know an update on the situation. Please don't accuse me of all the crap everyone else has on here. Just please give me some kind of update. I have met her personally and she is a very sweet woman. What I saw of her there was nothing to be worried about. I just, at this time, don't feel as though she was being 100% honest with me and wanted to know what someone may have known. It may have been because she was embarrassed, scared, whatever. I don't care. I just want to know what has happened to the horses. And, LeanoraLowery, don't you worry. I have called Becky, again with no answer.

@unbridled_silence, I think you should contact Becky to inquire about your horse. I can see you are 'highly ticked' off but what part of the story 'ticked' you off? So far, this blog amounts to no more than an exchange of opinions from different people (the majority of which are courageously hiding behind assumed names) and a story from a periodical whose integrity is being questioned now. Your concern for the horse you donated is commendable but the route you took in order to find out about your former horse is questionable. Wouldn’t one contact the main source – Dream High Farm (ie. Becky Bannister)- to get information on an animal that was previously donated before coming to a ‘blog’ to ask for information on a horse that is given no name or description and information on this ‘ghost’ horse should be sent to- of course, unbridled silence@………Why the mystery and anonymity I ask? I see no evidence that Becky Bannister would attack anyone – she has been bashed on this blog pretty severely and she has taken the high road always. I don't know if anyone is doing anything on this blog anymore. But I "donated" a horse to Dream High Farms a year ago and am highly ticked off after finding and reading this entire story. Someone please tell me, without any fussing and fighting, what the crap is going on and if there is anyone (other than becky) I could contact to find out where in the world my horse is!!!!!

I know Becky, she is a user for sure. She thinks the world owes her a living! I use the same vet as her and they won't go out to her (not really her's) place anymore because they would never get paid!! Same as most of the feed stores and hay dealers in the area. She always insisted on credit and then didn't follow through with any payments. Can you spell FRAUD??? She can, she lives it on a daily bases .

Hi all I have been following this for sometime now and I would like to make a few points I am not for either side of this mess. I read where StephanieFordCA said there were too many horses for the amount of land if this is true then there are laws or regulations and people that are paid to enforce these.I also have seen where the sheriff helped remove horses/animals from the property with out a court order, if these animals did belong to someone else then it should have gone in front of a judge. Law enforcement can not decide ownership only the courts can. Does the Ministry have ownership papers for any of the horses/animals? If so then they are in their rights to remove their animals. If Ms. Bannister has horses/animals that were signed over to her then those animals belong to her. If she is a Hoarder then there are laws to cover that to and people that are hired to enforce the animal laws. All I am saying is that anything the minstry does should be done thru legal channels. If the Minstry has been paying for the feed for these animals and the Bannisters have been feeding these animals with the feed then until everything has gone thru legal channels then the Minstry should keep buying the feed. Why would the Minstry stop paying for the feed/hay for several months if they truely cared for the animals well being, don't use the animals as a means to get the Bannisters off the land, it's not the fault of the animals and they did not cause any of this mess they are innocent ones. If the Bannisters have truely been squatting on the land for 3yrs then why did the minstry not do something before now.

I pulled the names up of some of these self righteous posters and I found this is not the first time they have waged attacks against people they don't know. I am reading all of these crazy post and they talk about being a christian but are slandering a good woman that was nice enough to give this person a free place to live but now she keeps overloading the property and has more horses than the law allows per acre.
Is this all these people do go from one thing on the internet to the next acting as if they have some God given right to put their two cents in to things they do not know about?
I know of Donna Floyd and she is a good person that has bent over backwards to help others and help animals. I called the police and the officer is aware of problems with this "squater" living on her property. She owns the property is she just supposed to give it to someone because they want it? No kids programs go on here and her daughter is the only disabled child there and the occasional child that comes to visit. The lady living there is not telling the public the truth. she took horses from someone and would not return them. Locals say she is a hoarder. No one knows where all the animals came from and with the last conversation I had with neighbors it seems she takes horses and will not give them back until the police have to go and get them.

Furthermore Geneva and Lenoroa you need to mind your own business and stay out of local issues and what gives you the right to think what you say is the law? Also the way you speak about Donna's money it sounds like your very jealous of people with money. What' wrong you have no money? Is this why you are slandering this woman? I have come to sort of respect Lenora as I think she really has a good heart, even if misdirected at times. Before we get to court, let's have the Bannister's bring back the animals that they removed which belong to the Floyd's. She didn't tell yawl that. Shame on her. When the Floyd's show the ownership papers and the pictures of them grazing in the pastures there, she will either return them or be in contempt of court. Won't it be a sad day if there is also papers on the mower, Bannister said the Floyd's stole from her? If Mrs. Bannister can not feed the horses on the farm where she is squatting, how can she feed the ones she has removed?

To be honest with you, in all my checking into this matter, I have not found an outpouring of support for Mrs. Bannister. Matter of fact, you two are it. Or three if you count Elizabeth's alias. Not going to make much of a showing in court !! Had Bannister vacated the property when asked, all the animals would have been cared for. No way around that.

Unfortunately for some, past history does eventually catch up with you. So lets just sit back and watch the fireworks, or see how a potential volatile situation works out. Rental agreements are generally simple documents (were there one) .... I own it, I want you off it, i notify you, YOU GO. Majistrate's Court and the Sheriff do that for me should a squatter refuse to leave. Services to those of us who pay taxes.

As to land --- If most people around these parts want more acreage, they buy it usually for cash. It is not a shame to have lots of money if you earn it. These people don't squat on land claiming to be something they are not and expect someone else to pay their bills.

Legal Eviction has been filed

Lawyer for High Pointe Ministries has asked for no contact from Bannister to Floyd thus insinuating the presence of a volatile situation.

Oh and then there is the removal of property that did not belong to High Pointe Ministries - yeah, there's that....court date has been set for that to be cleared up.

Taking all the above into consideration, no, the Floyd's nor their goons should set foot on the property before Bannisters are out.

My question may sound insane to those that do not understand the law and how it pertains to real estate/rental/eviction quagmires such as the present fiasco. Maybe the laws are different down there in Whigham.

What is insane, is that all this time I have been communicating with a pseudonym. I hear that back in the day cowardly men with malice in their hearts and hate on their lips used to hide behind white sheets. Now they can hide behind fictitious screen names. This time it is your totally insane question "Why should the Floyds have to enter the property for animals to be fed?". Because My Dear, this is the United States of America and the Floyd's or one of their entities OWN the property. It is theirs to do with as they please. I don't know why this is seemingly so difficult for Mrs. Bannister to understand.

Certainly you are intelligent and have reasoned outside the innuendos enough into this situation to realize that should the Floyd's continue furnishing housing, animal food and vet care as you suggest ..... the Sheriff will have to remove the squatter forcefully. Why should the Floyds have to enter the property for animals to be fed? Paying their past due bills at some of the suppliers would be a nice start. ( have invoices "Harvey") So no money to Bannisters - just the feed suppliers.

We do agree that the Bannisters will be evicted. So why does she not do the right thing and move on so the animals can be taken care of. As the Floyd's or their employees can not enter the property without the Sheriff being called, how should they maintain the animals during unnecessary court proceedings? Just give Bannister money? If you will check Georgia law, you will find there is not a law against defamation of character. If there were such a law, it appears that the Floyd's would have a legitimate case against you personally. Please note that it was not specifically stated that Mrs Bannister is a Sociopath. The statement began "Most Sociopaths -------". I can only assume that due to your intimate relationship with the situation and those involved, you made an assumption unilaterally.

Okay. Back to the subject at hand. High Pointe, while proceeding with legal eviction, should still help maintain the animals they promised to help maintain since the very beginning. Once the Bannisters are off the property, the loving Floyd ladies can go about their loving mission to re-home these animals -these animals that they love so much they refused to feed during these legal proceedings.

Sociopath? Choose your words carefully. The Bannisters are not public personas as Mrs. Floyd is, therefore not subject to the scrutiny many celebrities and public officials take on as part of their celebrity. What you are doing could be construed as defamation. None of the people coming forward on behalf of the animals have hidden behind a false name - yet all of the ministry’s goons have. Have something to hide? Your actions speak louder than your typed words.

@Leonora ------- Do you know Mr. & Mrs. Floyd? Do you know their intentions as you allude? Or as I suspect, is your information coming from the squatter "victim"? Not a reliable source my dear. Most sociopaths say something twice and it becomes the truth -- at least in their minds(?).

I have heard from a reliable source that Mr. Floyd bought the farm for his grandaughters. Mrs. Bannister was already squatting there as the previous owner chose not to use the courts to remove her, but sold the property and passed the problem on to the new owners. The old owner certainly told the new owner that Mrs. Bannister was a Royal PIA in every way she could be one.

I understand that Mr. Floyd, being the great man that he was, had a talk with Bannister telling her there would be no more frivolous law suits, such as one about who owned a Clydesdale boarded there, and other ground rules. You can verify the relationship between the Floyd's and the Bannister's with the banker who made the loan for the Floyd's to purchase the farm. I understand that Mr. Floyd had to clean up some of her mess with the bank in order to make the deal. All of this is public records on file with the Superior Court.

Mrs. Bannister kept accumulating animals without the Floyd's approval. No problem for Mrs. Bannister as the Floyd's were paying the feed and vet bills, both of which were exorbitant. I suppose the thought process was " the more animals I have, the harder it will be to evict me".

The Floyd's gave Mrs. Bannister a chance greater than she deserved and she blew it. So it is time for her to move on. When you own a property but are not comfortable being on it because of the people there, there is no other choice. Bannister has burned all her bridges in a pretty wide area here, so I realize this will be a problem for her. Hower, it is a self-inflicted problem. She will be evicted and if you and she really love animals, you should realize that the moneys that will be spent on legal proceedings could be used to care for the animals.

It would be appropriate if you removed "REHAB FARM FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN" from your header as it is a feeble attmept to legitamize this scam.

If Donna Floyd had a problem with the Bannisters, it should have been resolved in a Christian manner or as a regular eviction- thru the courts. I've have heard (from good sources) that the animals are no way going without feed and hay. If they were I would need to contact the animal control and advise of starving animals at that location and they would surely be required to investigate fully. I know Becky and I would never think she would intentally cause these animals pain due to lack of feed in this weather. So are your stories on here true and the animals going without, meaning I need to make that call or is this whole NO FOOD thing being overblown??

Does anyone spewing out the hate and critisism of High Pointe MInistries and their supporters know or has ever met Mrs. Bannister? I hope that you cyberbullies don't overtrain her. It is obvious that it is time for Mrs. Bannister to move on to her next target so High Pointe Ministries can feed and care for the horses. It is difficult for them to enter the property when Mrs. Bannister has the road blocked with her truck (probably to keep out process servers). If we were as spiteful as Mrs. Bannister, we would just have the Sheriff tow her truck as the road is an easement and it is unlawful for her to impede ingress. We don't need an Atlantan Esquire to know that.

Get real people ............ Generally, I could support your cause but certainly each case must stand on its own merit and this case deserves no support. Do some checking instead of listening to the "victim". Amazing that when the previous land owner was trying to evict her so he could sell his property, she told him " I will slander you to no end, as I am an animal rescue and child rehabilation business". No children have been rehabilated and someone else is feeding and paying vet bills for the animals ....... go figure !!!

If you need an attorney Mr. Pinehillmasonry, I can refer many fine Atlantan esquires. I do fear anyone in my family would be a conflict of interest. I was on the phone with ms. bannister,when the horses were taken,. I am a witness, and prepared to testify in a court of law. Christianity(or the lack thereof, will be revealed.) Okay, Pinehillmasonry and Harvey Willoughby - what we have here is a failure to communicate. This farm is High Pointe Ministries' property - never disputed. The animals 'accumulated' on this farm are the responsibility of High Point Ministry - an assumed responsibility that seemed to be accepted upon furnishing feed for them. It is of no consequence to me what FBI files you have on Bannister, nor do I care for the intricacies of the he-said, she-said BS from the forums on your little coffee houses. Bottom line, I have (in writing) feed store bills that show High Pointe Ministries no longer feeds these animals. I NEVER SAID ANIMALS WERE DYING - try to keep up Harvey! By the way, I am on no medication other than Day-Quil :). Ooop, don't look now but you're showing your ASS-uming side. Tsk, tsk, tsk - that is never a good side.

THIS mess was caused by HIGH POINTE MINISTRIES by not putting anything in writing. What I am saying to you and everyone else is that these animals are not at fault for the failings of the humans (use the term loosely in regards to some of the characters depicted) in this melodrama. THIS NEEDS TO GO TO COURT AND BE RESOLVED LEGALLY AND IN THE MEANTIME, FEED BILLS NEED TO BE PAID AND FEED NEEDS TO CONTINUE TO COME INTO THE FARM IN THE MANNER IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO THIS.

I know of a group that is en route to Whigham (they are on DayQuil too so save a breath-a-lizer) and will be filming the stores of feed, what is available and doing a video documentary of the goings on. We will make this available to the public soon.

Ms.Lowery - you must have not been on site the day I was there. Had you been onsite you would have seen me there in the afternoon LONG before dark. There were only 3 guys that came in to remove the few horses that were to be relocated. We didn't enter with the Grady County Sheriffs Dept - Becky must have called them - after her husband told us which horses were to be removed. There were 2 men on site that I believe are employees of Ms. Floyd and have every right to be on Ms. Floyds farm at her direction. Thats the part the whole blog seems to missunderstand, Ms. Bannister doesn't own the farm. There is no bulling here unless you are speaking of Ms. Bannister and her refusal to leave a property that she doesn't own, pay for or has ever paid for. My mother is a dear old Christian woman and she would smack me good if I was acting like Ms. Bannister and refusing to leave someplace where I had been asked numerous times to leave and still wasn't paying for anything there or trying to resolve the issues

@Lenora_Lowery - The owner of the farm prior to selling it to High Pointe Ministries was also trying to evict Mr. Bannister. The number of animals has probably doubled since that time. I guess if you hoard animals, you can stay anywhere you like and expect someone else to pay the bills.

@Lenora_Lowery - This will be my last effort to explain the local situation to you. It is obvious that you are out there in la la land and probably over medicated.

1. There are no dying animals on this farm. They are nice and fat on hay and supplements furnished by High Pointe Ministries.
2. A farm that size would support less than half of the animals Mrs. Bannister says she has accumulated.
3. This farm is 100% owned by High Pointe MInistries.
4. High Pointe MInistries has asked in writing that Mrs. Bannister vacate the farm.
5. Mrs. Bannister refuses to leave as she is the personification of a grifter and a squatter. People have heard her say that "I have found a way to live and never work another day in my life".
6. High Pointe Ministries has made arrangements with reputable horse farms to find home for all excess animals once Mrs. Bannister vacates the premises. They will be fed and cared for until good homes are found for them.
7. In the interim while the courts evict Mr. Bannister, she has removed animals that do not belong to her. This was done against recommendations from the Sheriff's Office. You must understand that laws do not apply to her.

So it would appear to any reasonable person, that if Mrs. Bannister's primary concern is the horses, she would vacate the property without court procedings so that they will be taken care of.

If even one animal dies on this farm because of neglect of the party responsible for their well-being in as much as their feed is concerned, I will make it a point to let the world know and never forget where the blame lies.

Is there more than one feed store and or vet in this town that can tell me about Becky Bannister? I would only want information that would tell me about the integrity of her character in regards to the treatment of animals. I don't want to hear opinions about outsiders (Bannister's) that mirror those opinions a bunch of inbred minions of a pseudo-Nazi Christianot Ministry. Give us phone numbers so that we can call and verify (or not) your drivel. Thank you.

@harvey_willoughby - again, I am not interested in defending Becky Bannister just the animals being hurt in the midst of this dispute.

In all that you have represented as evidence of the integrity of Bannister’s character, not one shred of evidence points to Bannister hurting an animal or neglecting an animal. That is the issue at hand here. These animals have little to no food. There is hardly hay for the horses - it is cold down there, but of course, you already know that. These animals were being provided food and vet care by High Pointe Ministries (as per previously agreed upon arrangement) and they (High Pointe Ministries) just pulled out all feed and vet support without warning. These animals have no fault in any of this - yet they are being punished in the worst possible way. 'IF' the balance of right and wrong is tipping favorably for High Pointe Ministry, then let the court admonish Becky Bannister and award High Pointe Ministries what is theirs. In the meantime - take care of your business and FEED YOUR ANIMALS. If Becky Bannister is a hoarder like you insinuate, then the ministry enabled this situation as their close proximity would make their relationship to the farm (and all goings on therein) a complicitious one.

It is not Christian to create suffering. It goes against all teachings of Christ. It is Christmas and High Pointe Ministries has attacked at the worst possible time for the animals at Dream High Farms. Donna Floyd, her family and her ministry represent the most loathsome of all creatures. I am not here to defend Becky Bannister of anything. She will have her day in court and she will defend herself. As of yet, no animal lawyer has stepped up to speak on behalf of these poor animals. So I will take it upon myself to be one of the first to lend a voice to their plight.

I (and others) am interested in the welfare of these animals. This so-called Christian Ministry is supposed to be a friend to the animals. The head of this Ministry (Mike Floyd) died this year and in his obituary it stated he and his wife LOVED animals. Well, what would Jesus do in a situation as this? Would he come into a place and take animals and feed illegally and leave the rest of the animals to perish? From what the "FEED STORE" said, the feed bill has not been paid on in a couple of months. If High Pointe Ministries was the main supporter of the nutritional welfare of these animals how in good conscience can they just stop the feed supply altogether? That is just monstrous and absolutely NOT CHRISTIAN! If the dispute is between High Pointe Ministries and Dream High Farms, the animals should not be made to suffer. It is as if the Ministry chose the path of least resistance decided to starve everyone off the property. The proper and moral thing to do is to take this matter to court, get a legal eviction and then take over and formally rename the farm 'Magnolia Farms' or whatever the name of their rescue organization is going to be. The moral thing to do is NOT TO STARVE THESE ANIMALS. Donna Floyd and her family should be ashamed of their reprehensible behaviour - classic example that bullying is not limited to our children's schools.

The 'spoken events' of the day, as they unfolded, has a witness. Despite the threats from the sheriff made directly to Becky Bannister for her to hang up the phone lest she be arrested - she stayed on the line. Good thing she did. IN came 9 men (3 of which were armed law enforcement) against the very real threat of an unarmed man, woman and their 13 year old daughter. WOW! @Lenora_Lowery - To remove the "banal vagueness" from my comments, I suggest you check public court records from Leon and Gadsen county Florida and Grady county GA. Her past is all there for you to see.
If you are interested in other than blogging, you might also want to check her certifications from the two credible Equine Therapy organizations who train and license people for that type therapy. Call and ask her to provide you with her degrees, licenses and certifications to provide rehabalitation services to special needs children. Her number is listed above.
Call the local veternarians and feed suppliers to verify her integrity. Call the bank and ask who owns the property she claims is "hers": Check the Tax Commissioner and see who pays the taxes.
Everyone loves animals but just because you hoard animals does not give you the right to think you can live off others. With all her degrees and certificalions, she should be able to get a job like the rest of us.

You both seem to be so be so sure of yourselves in the 'tidbits' of information you are putting out - just enough to try to cast a shadow of doubt but not enough to really prove 'anything'......would you also be willing to share on how exactly to verify what you are stating as fact?

Mrs. Bannister has a very checkered past and her claims to ownership of anything, her certifications to provide any type therapy or counseling, her association with any degreed person licensed to provide such sercices and the hundreds of children she has rehabilitated should be verified.

there should been a seizure order done by a court no matter who is in the right if this Ministries had an agreement with First Dream as it would appear because as you say the ministries had been paying the bills then this should have gone thru a court first. As I work with a rescue our rescue will have ownership papers where owner has turned over ownership but that does not mean that the owner would get rid of there ownership papers so there would have to be paper work with dates. It apears that the ministry is not very christian like there are other ways they could have done things that would have been more christian like. I for one would like to hear the Minstrys side of the story.

I don't know you nor you I however you need to really double check your facts before posting online. First Dream High Farms is NO RESCUE operation it hords animals of all kinds and this property has not been used alot as a therpy farm for kids if ever, unless you count Ms Bannisters daughter. I can assure you there was only 7 horses and 1 donkey removed from property that is owned by High Point Ministries under that owners direction and accompanied by proof of ownership on the removed animals. Also NO hay was removed and only approx 1/2 of the feed that was purchased & paid for by High Pointe Ministries. If anyone acted in a unchristian manner it would be Ms. Bannister and her daughter this statement by eye witness accounts. If High Pointe Ministries ownes the land and pays almost 100% of all bills for all the animals and Ms. Bannister only had 7-10 horses when she came there and by her own admission there is 100+ on the property, bells should be sounding that Ms. Bannister is not being 100% truthful and all posting on the web or TV should end until the courts can complete their investigation
