    • I understand that its negative connotation in Japan as an obessive shuttin and devotee might seem like a cult but the American version is simply a way of easily identifying oneself as a japanophile, perhaps not even as an obsessive person at all rather just someone who has a shared enjoyment though there are certainly those types. If I had to choose I'd be the leave your own mark on the world Otaku. My group has 103 members, and I host regular screenings. I didn't do that overnight I wanted to make an impact.

      I think everyone is into "cults",......sort of my theme,....or meme,.... or whimsical fascination for the moment,....whatever. Still,...some things are more easily and accessibly pigeonholed,....well,....like Trekkies,Trekkers,....Spokites,...you know; "speaks Klingon,wears spandex shirt, has made own phaser". Then,of course, there are those of us who know what a D30 is,.....and have at least 3D6+6 of them.
