A Soldier and Father Suicide Story

MotherForTruth
"This story is far too true, and far too common. Soldiers returning from war, only to be oppressed by the same system they swore allegiance to protect. This film chronicles the last day in the life of one soldier - or many - as countless veterans every month end their lives in desperation. Join the fight against the injustice visited, not just on veterans, but all capable parents robbed of their rights to see their children."

    • Shame on the way our soldiers are sent, not just to fight or protect, but to get divorced and to have the family fall apart and to return to heartbreak and abandonment.
After so many years of experience and so many wars, why have our generals and top brass not learned the horrible lesson that our soldiers will eventually be heartbroken when they return???!!!!

    • Joe, I can get behind what your saying. It is a tragedy that the men and women who have gone to fight for this country, because of extended deployments or physical injury, come home to find out that their spouse has moved on and is filing for divorce and taking everything. I can think of nothing more humiliating and deprecating.

    • Oh of course jubal the vets who live this daily and come home with restraining orders and divorce/custody papers definately do appreciate this...... The numbers are true that come from this video, no longer are families to stay together in times of war, instead its just a guaranteed cash cow for the mothers and the states who completely disregard the sacrifices these men have made, not to mention the children who lose out on having their fathers......

    • Lovely how you weave your own agenda into a topic about vets. I am sure the vets will appreciate it there abe.

    • This soldier who spent part of his life helping us all, was actually encouraged to kill himself by the horrendous system of not respecting our Vets. Illegal aliens and Mexicans who loiter illegally here, could sneak in here and get free medical help, free schooling, free food, and access to free lawyers. Yet someone who is an American citizen and served to protect us and keep us guarded, gets less help. How do we allow that!!!????

    • This is how we support our troops?? Great post MFT, its a shame we let things like this go unnoticed through our main stream media. Why would they ignore this??

    • A sad story of one father and a solder… Unfortunately this is not uncommon. These stories do not make headlines and rarely make on the local news. One such father in my town has committed suicide after years of court hearings, and tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal costs the courts left him homeless, penniless and childless. His story never even made the local news.
There are many good fathers who love their children and want to be in his children's life end up loosing access to their children. And many devastated children loose access to their fathers.
