    • It is going to keep falling I suspect and there will be a wealth of redundancies and reposessions. We are all paying the price of outstanding greed on the part of city money men.

      Food inflation and energy costs are soaring and the only way to combat it is to look for renewable energy sources and go back to basics and start growing more of our own food (or eat differently).

    • I don't *really* know much about the FTSE, and thankfully my world exists a loooong way from the pink-shirted, pointy-shoed, ruddy-faced city boys that deal with all this money nonsense, but this doesn't sound good. At all.

    • I heard this morning that the rates banks use between themselves for 'overnight lending' has hit the roof. I think they said it went from about 5.2% to around 6.75%.

      That's a massive increase and just shows how much all the banks are bricking it.
