This is really cool, just the type of compassionately logical thing that only a european nation would do, here it would have been destroyed because theres no protocol for donation like that, or we would have been afraid someone would be allergic and get sick and die and their family would sue for millions even though they left grandma alone to eat cat food

No.....here it also would have been used. The local Jails cook Venison for inmates which is donated by hunters sometimes.
