How about speaking out for DOW Chemicals pulling out of sponsorship of the London Olympics in 2012 since you were a part of their company by serving on their Board until you got hired here? A little disingenuous to be part of a company with such a heinous environmental history and not explain why by using these videos to reinvent yourself as if that wasn't being part of that 1%.

This is not a company I would want anything to do with.
Will you hold polluters like them accountable for it on your show?

You want to know what is truly "radical" ? What is radical is calling a movement grounded in seeking equality and greater equity for mankind, "RADICAL". That is what is most troubling by the mainstream media analysis of Occupy Wall Street or the Occupy movement itself. It never should have gotten so perverse that the citizens of the United States needed to take to the street to face a hyper militarized police force to remind its leaders that they should fear us more than they have tried to make us fear them. Pepper spraying an 84 year old woman, like the Police did in Seattle, is beyond obscene, beyond disturbing. It is criminal. The radical politics my dear friends are those which seek the oppression of free men and women and which authorize or rationalize the imposition of a police state to maintain the status quo and to protect the 1% of a nation against the greater common good of man. Hence, Occupy Wall Street is not "radical" at all. I take deep exception to this notion. And those that do not are only inspiring those who may remain on the sidelines to take it to the street and risk our lives if necessary so that our children, nieces, nephews and those of others do not have to live under this oppressive mindset, one which debases the value of humanity for the sake of preserving the material trappings of an elite indifferent to the dignity of their fellow citizens. Ironic that our leaders celebrate the freedom and calls for democracy around the world and yet when it happens here in America, they try to stifle it and stifle it rather aggressively. Should this continue realize that someday that we too are capable of dragging leaders by their hair through a public square, should it become necessary.
The reason why the MSM tries to fix this label radical to this movement is that they hope to force as man reasonable and persuasive voices to the sideline of the movement, to disengage or turn the rest of us into dispassionate bystanders. The OWS Movement is about all of us. It is not "they" so if you think something needs to be changed, addressed or spoken more forcefully, you must join it and participate in it.

I feel like all the smart progressives that actually have ideas are just calling the game instead of playing in it. Keith Olbermann for example. I would vote for Keith.

We need more progressives like Jennifer Granholm out there in the spotlight. Great work Current TV. Although, I have to say, the title of a show called "The War Room" seems waaaay to Faux News or CNNish. I have no suggestions for a better title - which is why I am not running a studio - but I hope you all would come up with something a little more Currentish.
