Attempting to answer a frequently asked question, Jennifer Granholm ponders how Republicans get people across the country to vote against their own interests. In the process, she praises GOP strategists for hitting the kinds of buzz words that keep their base satisfied.

      Stupid this and dumb that.
Man has walked upright with a brain for over 4000 years and this is how far we have evolved? Yikes!!
Sad thing is the game is almost over, all the Rep's AND Dem's have to do is keep
us distracted for a few more years and it will be to late.
As long as we keep hating on each other the Dem's AND Rep's in Washington can continue there orgy with wall street prostituting the constitution and themselves.
One day you will wake up and realise it don't matter much if your neighbor is a Dem or a Rep he is A american only then it won't matter anymore.
      And neither will America

there is a fine line between foolishness and altruism. there's a reason you need to put on your own oxygen mask before trying to help someone else.

not to mention, voting for the good of society is a very socialist concept, which you appear to despise. it's that kind of absurdity that puts this rationale on the foolish side.

Be advised, please, the state now has a budget "surplus"--do you think, even for a MOMENT, that if Virg Bernero were governor, that you could make that statement of FACT? Of course not! Like Obama, he would just spend, spend, spend--ENOUGH madness, it is PAST time to use "common sense", fiscally RESPONSIBLE measures! We have had a "mass exodus," with people leaving the state in droves! With fewer (and fewer!) taxpayers, you simply CANNOT keep spending money that you DON'T have! Duh?!?

Yes, I DO despise ANY politician who uses socialist methods/practices when addressing issues/needs of society--You CANNOT point to a SINGLE example of ANY society that has experienced "long term" success utilizing such principles--it would appear that YOU are the one in need of an oxygen mask--then again, if you would just pull your head out of your backside, you MIGHT start getting enough oxygen to think clearly. Time to give YOU the definition of a lberal--anyone who refuses to let FACTS get in the way of their FEELINGS. Talk about illogical/irrational behavior!!! P.S. To HELL with Jennifer Granholm--she is EXACTLY where she needs to be, in that bastion of liberalism, UC Berkley! Good Riddance!

Yeah, lets watch as people flood into state to live under GOPer Furher Synder...

You have to be crazy to think people aren't going to continue to get the hell out this fucking state. I should have left the day Gov. Granholm left office. People are leaving this place like rats fleeing a sinking ship. The GOP/Nazi party is just adding to the misery.

Please feel FREE to leave--Only us "diehards" will stay, AND we WILL survive, with OR without people like you--Why NOT follow your "idol," Granholm. I'm SURE you can get "assistance out there, in "the land of fruits and nuts," as the comedian Gallagher calls it. After all, they are ONLY 30-40 BILLION in debt!!! Go ahead, sign up for the "gravy train,"--after all, if they can GIVE "instate" tuition to illegal aliens, they SURELY must have some money to toss your way! Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, 'eh?

      You can live under Nazi rule, but the rest of want out of this mad house that is stripping democracy from it's citizens all over the state;

The law (Mich Emergency Manager Law), which was approved by the Republican-controlled state Legislature last year and signed by Snyder, allows state-appointed emergency managers to remove local elected officials from office. Critics say the law is a threat to democracy.[1]

"It's really wrong," said Ed Kudla, a teacher from Slauson Middle School in Ann Arbor who came to the rally to show his support for recalling Snyder and repealing the law.[1]

"First of all, they take away money from cities, towns and villages — then they go after them with an emergency manager when they don't have enough money to pay their bills," he said. "And when they go in, they take public land, they bust unions and cancel contracts. Everything about it is wrong, and there's no end in sight."[1]

    • Ms. Granholm, I look forward to your show...

You are correct, Republicans are in perfect lockstep, while democrats celebrate their diversity and their uniqueness... which by their very definitions create a divisive wall of you and me and not the unity the Dems need to succeed.

IMHO, the public should be voting on the issues directly and the politicians are elected do the administrative work only.

    • May I ask how did this idiocy get up front on the board? The most recent post I can find is 6 days old. Everyone knows that voters are told to vote, and how by the those friendly folks who own the media and the machines they vote on. I know most of you can't write, but I thought you could all read....Marshall McCluhan!

    • When people accept as a "given" that millionaires are job creators and that the trickle-down theory of economics is an immutable fact, it is very easy to see how they will vote against their own interests. They are starting with an erroneous "given".
This is the front that needs to be addressed by the Democrats and any other thinking people who wish to change the status quo.

    • Smaller government is the concept that Reagan used to convince the American people to mistrust government.

The government is the only entity that has power over the wealthy and that is why he wanted the people to mistrust the government - and so we must expose that pernicious idea of smaller government for what it is and proclaim that we again need a government of the people, by the people, for the people and we must get rid of a government that favors only plutocrats.

    • It's my belief that Fox News, Glen Beck, and Rush Limbaugh are a majority of the reason people vote against themselves. I wouldn't necessarily credit the Republican party as a whole with that much strength. The real question should have been; with everything the Republican party is blatantly doing in the face of the poor and Middle class poor American people, why would these people continue to vote Republican? It is amazing to me.

    • Fibrebundle-- I can't tell if you agree with me or not- With regard to the G.M. bailout-- as a retiree of G.M., I AM grateful that it happened. The domino effect of the suppliers losing work WOULD have cost many jobs, although not MILLIONS like that mindless "twit," Ed Schultz on MSNBC incorrectly stated. Michigan was going down (economy) as early as 2004--it took the rest of the country a LONG time to "catch up." Approximately 1,000,000 people would have been affected. With regard to Jack Welch--To HELL with Jack Welch, and you can throw Warren Buffet into that mix too--He complains about not paying enough taxes (he can DONATE ANY amount he wants to the U.S. Treasury!), all the while FIGHTING a BIG tax bill that the I.R.S. says he owes. Can you say, "HYPOCRITE?" Back to G.M.-- those ASSHOLES were told by us workers, EVERY DAY of my 30 years there, that we wanted to help them run the business better--(problem!) The FIRST paragraph of the National Agreement states--It shall be the sole responsibility of the Corporation to make all decisions with regard to running the business, in so many words. Arrogant jerks--Look at what it got 'em--the REAL shame is all of those stockholders who lost their ASS for believing in G.M.! I have purchased, and am going to read Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand--1,000plus pages.

Where to begin? First, when you write a sentence, the first letter of the first word is ALWAYS in "upper case" (S, not s,DUH!?!). Your poor spelling/typographical errors are "hilarious," to say the least! And you call ME an idiot--right! Also, Africa is spelled with an A, not an a. When you say Rand (again, an R, dumbass! not an r) preached selfishness, I think you might mean self-sufficiency--There is a BIG difference between the two. I have NOT read the book Atlas Shrugged yet, I am going to start the OVER 1,000 page "tome" this week. With regard to my "not belonging" to this "society," You ARE partially correct. I DO NOT belong in a society where the government is responsible for my welfare/well-being--my father taught me to depend on/support MYSELF! You whiny liberals just don't get it. People who are too lazy/stupid to make decisions that help themselves somehow think that it is the responsibility/job of our government to do so--WRONG!!! If you fail to plan, you plan to fail--people like that socialist dimwit J. Granholm don't seem to be able to relate to the concept of doing for yourself; you know, like J.F.K. said, "ask NOT what your country can do for you, but what YOU can do for your country." Liberal crybabies and punks could START by removing themselves from "Uncle's teat!"

rand taught sefihness. but you wouldn't know that because you are of that ilk. my son-in-law is just like you. he believes every dime he makes is his and should pay no taxes. and he keeps buying guns to get ready to go to war about it. in your ignorance you don't see that social security, medicare and medicaid are their to keep people out of poverty and healthy. most people don't make millions of dollars a year. they make 40-60-thousand. and they have kids to raise. the reason we have social security is because the elderly were dying in the streets after they couldn't work any more. most people don't have the fiscal capacity to make enough money to fund retirement. and try getting a health insurance policy when your 65. you can't. you are single mined and and only care about your self. i'm not whiny but i am a liberal. you do need to think about leaving the country cause it's our mission to crush you and you will never win. oh and when i blog i don't use upper case.it's just how i am. my suggestion is to go to ron pauls website. you will be welcome their..........not here. now go blow it out your ass. punk

#1.--You are WRONG when you say your son-in-law and I are the same--I DO believe in paying MY income taxes--I ALSO despise the bottom 47% who pay NO Federal income taxes, some even getting "earned(?)" income tax "credits"(?), thus getting MORE money back than they originally paid in for that year! Can you say WELFARE? I CAN!!! What a bunch of BULLCRAP!!! Social Security was meant to be a SUPPLEMENT to retirement.
#2. Did YOU know that young single mothers are having the birth of their babies paid for by Medicaid? WHAT?!? What a WONDERFUL thing to teach today's youth-- It's O.K., little girl, "Uncle Sugar" will pay for that baby's birth, the one you are bringing up in a state of poverty--STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!!!!!!! And families that try to have babies on minimum wage jobs--STUPID again! If you do not have the income to raise a family, DON'T DO it! Just because you WANT to have a baby, does NOT mean you should have one--THAT'S SELFISHNESS, PERSONIFIED!!!! If you fail to plan, you plan to fail!!! If you possess the mental capacity, (I DOUBT IT!) look up Ben Franklin's quotes-- they ARE available on the "net." Pay PARTICULAR attention to the one about poverty--you MIGHT learn something before you leave this earth. About "crushing/defeating" me, not if you had a hundred more like you, CLOWN!!! You people (liberals) comprise between 18-22% of our society--Hardly enough to form an army large enough to do what you say you are going to do--MY son-in-law (he co-owns a business!) and his generation WILL NOT let the punk-assed liberals of HIS generation get away with such acts. About my being a "punk." I haven't been a punk since I was 10 years old, helping out on my grandfather's farm in the summer--My dad worked my ASS off, from the time I was 8. Just this last summer (September) I built a bridge (BY MYSELF!) across the creek behind my place after the old one washed out as a result of heavy rains this spring. I pulled 28' long 2x12 "stringers" (5 of 'em!) across the creek, stood them up using foundation blocks, braced & assembled them, and laid 4ft. long 2x4's on top. It DID take a few days, what with all the measuring, cutting, screwing, nailing, etc., BUT-- I GOT 'er DONE!!! My late daddy was looking down at his son, and he was PROUD!!! FACT: When I was 12 years old I could work HARDER/LONGER than MOST full-grown men--my dad's dad was from Pennsylvania, where work was just a part of everyday life--he possessed a "Pennsylvania-Dutch" work ethic, and my dad passed it on to me--I've got a "bum" shoulder right now, and even in YOUR "prime", I bet I could STILL outwork a "lightweight" like YOU-- The ONLY thing YOU have ever worked hard is your MOUTH!!!

Like Ron White, the hillbilly comedian says, "You CAN'T fix STUPID!" He was talking about people like YOU. I am not a liberal ASSHOLE like you, the kind of person who thinks it's the government's job to help me when I make bad decisions/stupid mistakes! You remind me of the saying, "stupid is as stupid does!" Sounds right to me. Be advised, "running" a plant is NOT the same as WORKING! Physical labor usually ISN'T the strong suit of any liberal, it is something that is "beneath" them. FACT: I COULD, CAN, and ALWAYS WILL be able to outwork a punk-assed BITCH like you-- as far as name calling, YOU ARE the CHUMP, 'er, CHAMP there! Be advised, ANY and ALL responses by yourself to me from this point forward shall be deleted, without being read. All you're doing is trying to create trouble and feed off of the response of someone else who is obviously more intelligent than you. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You have shown your ignorance in this forum and it is very well expected from someone who received his education from the likes of Glen Beck, Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann.

If you want to vote against yourself and be a part of the circus idiots, then by all means, go and join the team of Fox News or Rush Limbaugh and be as ignorant as you want to be, but please. . . leave this discussion because you have added absolutely nothing to it.

I would also like to extend my sympathy to the parents who gave up on you and let them know that they were completely wrong; especially your father, because you do amount to something in the eyes of those who piss on the floor at Walmart.

Again, your head is up your backside! I DO not despise the poor; YOU however need to realize WHY the majority of them are where they are! Poor choices, lack of education, etc.; You STILL HAVE NOT read Ben Fanklin's quote(s), specifically the one pertaining to an effective cure for poverty. It IS NOT the fault of the "rich" that those people are poor! If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Here IS an "original" thought you keep "whining" to hear--I taught it to my to beautiful daughters, and they follow it, to the letter! Pay attention now you "whiny it's EVERYBODY'S fault BUT mine" wimp! Thought FIRST, action SECOND, ALWAYS--Makes it a SURE THING! What that means for small I.Q. people like yourself is this--DO NOT make a move, EVER, UNLESS you have "thought it through" from ALL angles, FIRST! Now, I WILL be the FIRST to admit, it DOES NOT always work to your advantage; HOWEVER, if you DO things (everything!) in this manner, if/when the "stuff" hits the fan, you SHOULD be able to "weather the storm." NOTE: My youngest daughter was FOOLISH as a teen--Pregnant at 16, baby born 30 days after her 17th birthday, NO high school diploma, etc., etc., etc,.--became an "adult entertainer" (can you say 'topless dancer?), something I was NOT pleased to hear. Then, she pulled her head OUT of her ass, got a GED, and opened a Day Care business with her older sister--she now OWNS and RUNS that business, BY HERSELF!!! Lesson? ANYBODY, if they STOP behaving/acting FOOLISHLY/ STUPIDLY CAN help themselves get out of their situation. You just have to know how to USE your brain, something TOO MANY people are too LAZY to even TRY! You STILL don't have the "guts" to read the book, The Great American Bank Robbery, by Paul Sperry, because you DON'T want to learn how Jimmy Carter started the WHOLE THING (He DID have good intentions--That's what the road to HELL is paved with, remember?) when he signed the Community Reinvestment Act into law--Bill Clinton put it to use, and the current housing/financial crisis was "set into motion." Read how Fannie & Freddie, HUD, etc., were ALL responsible for it!!! In closing, I AM about done trying to educate you, BUT--you need to realize this fact--I KNOW you are DOWN on the 1%er's--If the government TOOK ALL of the money from EVERYONE who make 1,000,000 or more dollars per year, and gave EACH of them just $50,000 per year to live on, it would take "Uncle Sugar" just 12 days to SPEND EVERY PENNY!!! Can YOU say "OVERSPENDING?" DUH?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

"I DO not despise the poor; YOU however need to realize WHY the majority of them are where they are! Poor choices, lack of education, etc" You do despise the poor; In a single sentence, you claim that You do not despise the poor, then blame them for 'poor choices, lack of education' Ect. It is still the blame game. You have not even accepted the simple facts that the 'poor' do not have enough money to cause a crisis? Again you are the problem, 1 anything you hear (when it is not one of your preconceived ideas) is wrong, you get to be right, and they (everybody else) is wrong. Again you have not accepted the Banking Practices of Amortization of the Properties into Securities Derivatives. You are simply blaming a whole group, instead of those that profited from it. Its Lazy, and You keep refusing to acknowledged History and actual Fact. You are not educating anybody, you are repeating (opinions as facts) and insist everybody agrees with the opinion that you have. I have given you facts on the known reasons about the Mortgage Collapse. It was driven by the Bank, in the creation of Securities Derivatives in the 2000's.

Grasshopper, PLEASE watch Two Americas, currently showing on CURRENT TV--In it, PLEASE note the "poor" family--they are IDIOTS!!! The wife AND the husband are driving nearly new Ford pick up trucks! Can you say, "LIVING BEYOND THEIR MEANS?" Why did they not sell AT LEAST one of those vehcles? The husband is driving a $30,000 (AT LEAST) vehicle!!! She is driving a nearly $25,000 vehicle!!! WHY??? Because they are STUPID, that's why! Have YOU ever heard of Dave Ramsey? He is on MANY radio stations, across the country! HE WOULD tell you, that my analysis is CORRECT! They should BOTH be driving cars that have NO payment attached, AT LEAST until they "get back on their feet." Just because you WANT something, DOES NOT mean you should have it, UNLESS you can afford it! That's Economics 101!!! I gave you my OWN daughter as an example--a SINGLE mother, with TWO kids, ONE income, (her OWN business, remember?) a high school DROP OUT, who IS realizing "The American Dream!" My band director (Concert & Marching Band) in high school had a sign on the wall, in case you made a mistake while playing your instrument--in BIG "block" letters--RESULTS, NOT EXCUSES! • As a homegrown Michigander and victim of Granholm's "success," I hope those she is now charming in California - yes, I know her, she is a very charming woman - don't fall prey the seductress. The man in charge now is having to take apart patchwork quilt of one-time fixes she strangled the state of Michigan with. We're doing much better now, if anyone is interested.

    • I am SO glad Granholm is GONE from Michigan. She is nothing more than a socialist! Against our own interests? Really? That means that, UNLIKE she and her followers, we ARE NOT selfish and self-centered; It means that we put the country's best interests before our own! Example: Obama is trying to kill the pipeline, appeasing the environmenatlist "whackos", to get his job back in 2012, rather than helping to create jobs, which our country needs, in the WORST way. And to think, our CLOWN in chief claims that the Republicans are the ones putting party before country. Yeah, RIGHT! What a JOKE! About Elizabeth Warren--yes, MANY people in this country HAVE become successful on their own, in SPITE of the government getting in the way at EVERY turn! The government HELPED(?) them, MY BACKSIDE!!! Too many people have come to believe (Especially Obama!) that it is the government's job to dictate all areas of, and be responsible for, your life--WRONG!!! It is YOUR responsibility to take care of YOURSELF--If you FAIL to plan, you PLAN TO FAIL--DUH!?! In closing, look up who owns 25% of the stock of the company Lightsquared--(Green company)--none other than Robert Kennedy Jr.--The company got 1.8 billion in loans from "Uncle Sugar," to help prop it up, so that "Little Bobby's" stock would remain solvent. Can you say "crony capitalism?" And to think, you liberal IDIOTS think it is ONLY the Republicans who are "sticking it to " the little guy!! Wake up, FOOLS!!! P.S. Read the book, "Throw them all out", by Robert Schweiser, and LEARN something, as opposed to being the "mind numbed robots" that liberals usually are.

Do you think the President acted unwisely when he bailed out GM? I guess that helped a few Michiganders, but you and I know they were the "wrong" kind of people to get a bailout, right? GE, was one of the biggest TARP recipients, but since that went directly to Jack Welch's generous retirement, than I suppose that was sorta OK. We just don't want any of "those" people to get any help. Those environmental whackos piss me off too. You'd think that the planet we evolved on (OOPS I mean were given domain over by God) was somehow more important to our survival than big bonus bucks for execs. Maybe those morons should read Ayn Rand.

First of all 'Obama is trying to kill the pipeline' is a lie. A person that has not made a decision about it, is not killing the pipeline, and its unnecessary to build period, there are alternative energy sources that are better than Oil.

Your belief of 'Too many people have come to believe (especially Obama!) that it is the governments job to dictate all areas of, and be responsible for, your life' is frankly a lie, Government has its good functions, like Clean Air and Water that you breath and drink. you refuse to accept that truth is the problem,

Frankly its easy to blame and separate and segregate things into little holes. to say 'No' in its many forms 'cant afford that' cant be done' 'too much regulation' are all variances of 'no' learn to say yes. What can you do, instead of 'no'.

Your refusal to accept that the Federal Government was responsible for the Cleaning up of Clean Water, and Air, Federal Government installed a interstate highway, Federal Government installed Electricity to Rural Areas of these United States, None of those things were possible under your ideal utopia.

Think for yourself, instead of repeating propaganda, you might learn something because being Angry and 'right about Being Angry'

Oh having concluded on everything in life to your facts, is not thinking for yourself; thinking is evaluating things on thier own merit, not what you think about it, repeating your own thoughts into facts.

Dear "mindless ranter"--a.k.a. johnhodgson1234--I DON'T recall saying a DAMN thing about the pipeline "fiasco"--you've got me confused with somebody else--Then again, YOU probably are the one who is confused! About EPA regs--you are an IDIOT to believe the liberal "lamestream" media spewing B.S. about Repubs being against Clean air, they want dirty water, etc.,--what "poppycock!" They don't feel the need for MORE regs, get it? As far as I am aware, they DO NOT want to repeal any regs currrently in place. You may know something I don't--I'm always OPEN to hearing FACTS, not FICTION, O.K.? Back to the pipelne--I believe it WAS given the "green light," until the enviromentalist "whacko's" got on Obama's ass about it--he realized how many votes he might lose, so he put the brakes on it at that point. FINALLY, do a LITTLE homework, CLOWN, and look up quotes from Mr. Benjamin Franklin; pay particular attention to the one about people living in poverty, and what should be done for/to them. It has even MORE relavence in TODAY'S society! In closing, PLEASE do yourself a favor and LEARN what happens to a society where more and more, the government gets involved in peoples' lives--Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand--WARNING : It is a LONG, "DEEP" read, but VERY much in parallel to what our society is becoming. If you think the Democrats are the "greatest thing since sliced bread," read the book, The Great American Bank Robbery, by Paul Sperry--LEARN the REAL reason(s) for the current housing/financial crisis we are currently enduring--HINT: Thank you, Jimmy Carter!!! NOTE: THis book has OVER 17 pages of "endnotes," listing his sources of information, (NOT propoganda!). You have your assignment(s), now go do your homework!

Really and Republicans have wanted to dismantle the EPA, Aka Rick Perry. Again I have submitted to you that you do not think for yourself. Really how about Texas, and the Nuclear Waste Dump over a Aquifer in Texas, a 2 billion dollar single contract source. And how about those New Laws on Abortion that are being run through the House and Senate of Various States. This is facts and history, it would do you good to look at that, instead of just repeating propaganda. You are now aware by me of the fact that Republicans that are running for President do want to dismantle the EPA and remove Regulations about Clean Water and Air. To deny this is foolish, but because of your screen name 'red road dog' a dog is stubborn. You Deny the Fact that Republicans have used Government Regulations to remove the rights of the individual, and continue to do so. Homework! Hardly!, The Housing Crash was caused by the Security Derivatives Bond Market selling properties in bundles, with the knowledge that the Security Divestitures Bonds were bad, and made even more money by those Bonds Collapsing to Nothing. (Collecting Insurance) To Infer that all the Bad Mortgages were in fact by 'Poor People' is foolish, the Poor do not have enough money to cause trillions in losses and that was caused mostly in the Bush Administration. The Greed was the Motive and Billions were made in profits when those Security Exchange Derivatives was crashed. Remember the Rating Scandal (The Bankers Hired People to Falsify Ratings). Again You can either repeat what others think, and call it your own thoughts, but that is not thinking, it is being a parrot.

    • It's psychology, human psychology. The buzz words, and symbols they use resonate strongly with that percentage of people. There is a spectrum of how much "change" people can take from low to high with the majority falling somewhere in the middle. As society (through science and technology) has "accelerated", that is the speed of change. Those who cannot tolerate this (the low end of the spectrum), are forced to find ways of coping. Simple ideas that they can latch onto, and hold as absolutes act to give them feelings of certainty in uncertain times. Various forms of fundamentalism on the raise all over the world for instance. The wrong-winger spin doctors are especially good at using the words, and symbols which resonate with these peoples psyches. It's hard to seriously look at the world and consider foreign policies, it's easy to wave a flag around and shout "love it or leave it". It's hard to try and understand the middle east, the different religious and cultural groups, it's easy to point at "those people" in their funny (non-western) dress and shout it's "those muslims!". It's all about reducing the world (everything) to very simple terms "us good", "them bad", etc. Then you easily point at "them" with hate and fear to energize your constituency. Nobody does hate and fear like the wrong-wingers!

    • What is a black hole? You can't see it directly, but you can sense its effects. Today's Republican Party is an elaborate smoke screen designed to mask an evil ecosystem of money laundering, tax evasion and financial manipulation that has one very simple understandable goal---to steal as much money as they possibly can. This goal requires incapacitating governments around the world and perverting religion so its practitioners are reduced to worshiping golden calves and spiritually masturbating in their towers of Babel. The Beatitudes are of course verboten in these worshiptoriums. This corporately veiled hidden directorate of evil {whose membership constitute the "Black Hole" and the eco-system of evil} has purchased lackeys to implement their policies (e.g. see alecexposed.org). and spent billions on propaganda channels and spinmeisters to daze and confuse the public and to deflect blame for the effects of their fraud onto government and other scapegoats. So is it any wonder that there are shell shocked victims of this propaganda barrage who have voted against their own interests? The Old Republican Party had a guy named Lincoln who said you can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time and(I hope he's right) YOU CAN'T FOOL ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME.
This is not your father's Republican party, unless you learned your history from Newt Gingrich or the Koch Brothers Heritage Foundation.

    • I believe it's pure ingorance.First, you continuously tell ignorant people They are smart, then you parade ideals in front of them telling them if they accept those ideals then that proves just how smart they are over others. and when you bring those ideals into play you reward them by broadcasting just how smart they are for applying them even if it's to their own detriment.

    • I agree 100% when she says that the gop gets their message out better than the Dems. The Dems run away from health care, polution of the environment, unfair restrictions on the postal service, token support of OWS, voter repression all over the country.

Still I get ,almost daily requests for money from Pelosi, Biden, Michelle, DNC, etc.We allow the GOP to control the Sunday talk shows...most have 2 or 3 Repubs to 1 Dem.

As she said, we just need to be more proud of our actions...we don't have to lie, just tell it as it is.
