Chinese firms to build houses out of tainted milk?

What to do with all that melamine-tainted milk?

CDT reports that while some companies have gone the rather more unscrupulous route of pouring the stuff directly into rivers (for which they, thankfully, have now been caught and fined), while others are attempting the environmentally dubious (and seemingly impossible) solution of burning the stuff, some companies are seeking ever-more creative solutions, such as using the milk in the manufacturing of bricks and cement. Not only does this sound like a less wasteful and greener alternative (as long as it doesn't undermine the structural integrity of the buildings), it is also more than 70% cheaper than burning it in garbage incinerators.

Could milk houses be the way forwards in China?
