    • The aluminum suspected of being a major trigger is: aluminum chlorohydrate. More pervasive and destructive are parabens, which are preservatives used in personal care/ cosmetic products for women. Common parabens: methyl paraben, ethyl paraben, propylparaben, butyl paraben, isobutyl paraben, or E216. Parabens mimic the female hormone, estrogen. Parabens are found in 20 varieties of breast tumors, which alarmed researchers.

The other problem with anti-perspirants is they block the release of toxins from one of the several toxin release points in the skin.

Another cause is bra wearing habits. Anthropologist studied Fiji women; one group of these women wore bras, the others did not. Same diet, environment, etc. Her book explains all this, "Dressed to Kill: the Link between breast cancer and bras". Sydney Singer is the author.

In addition, here's some numbers from her study. 24 hours a day bra wear = 3 in 4 chance of developing breast cancer. Women wearing more than 12 hours a day, but not to bed had 1 in 7 chance of breast cancer. Less than 12 hours, 1 in 152 chances; rarely or never wearing a bra, 1 in 168 chances.

At least 2 reasons noted: One it restricts/constricts lymph nodes near and in and around side of breasts and towards underarm. Depending on style of bra and how often exact same style would also factor in, along with the size of breasts, and therefore the amount of pressure/ weight the bra straps exert on these vital cancer fighting lymph nodes/ system.
Study done by Dr. David Williams shows also that bra worn more than 14 hours a day tends to increase the release of the hormone prolactin which decreases circulation throughout the breast tissue, overall. (www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/breast cancer.com ) This is part of the stagnation process that impedes the body's ability to move carcinogenic fluids and compounds out of the body through the lymphatic system in and around the breast.

    • I thought this was interesting? More like a boring distraction from the truth (as I see it!).....I am sick and soooooo tired of those pink everythings. I believe this story was generated out of the UK. Guess what? The last time I was there, the first thing I did was go to the drug stores (and the like) to purchase deodorant. Because as a women (the possible breast cancer victim), I can not find deordant from a major manufactor that does not contain aluminium! Only anti-perspirant.(sp?...it has been so long since I have used this product, not sure how to spell it) I am not suppose to sweat. So my normal body function is hindered, glands backed up with toxins, my lymph nodes can no longer handle this constant irritation and as every doc knows: Constant irritation leads to tissue change. Is cancer considered a viable "tissue change"? I am interested in this idea. I have before me a container I purchased from the UK by Adidas and it has printed on the label in bold white lettering " 0% ALLUMINUM. Now this is a man's deodorant because I now (and for the past 10++ years) only use the men's products (usually Speed Stick active fresh scent) so I still allow my body to function normally, while not being offense. Why are the men being warned on their products about the "aluminum" and I have never heard once from the "pinkies" who push running, marching, and money about a young women when she first encounters this lifelong purchase to not buy a 'clinical strength' Secret. When the real secret is allow yourself to sweat naturally and never use an anti-perspirant? I mentor too many to count......And you can be sure, by the 2 or 3 day with me, the young ladies get the stop order and I give them a sample of a man's deodorant to start using. Yes, it does take at least 30 days to be as effective, so I also throw in a pricey bottle of parfum to sweeten the deal. I am interested to know, why the shelves of every American drug store, beauty product store or supermaket does not offer a major manufactured product for women that does not contain aluminum? My suggestion to the pink people who handle the finances: Develope and offer the women of this country an alternative product for our underarms that does not contain aluminum!!!!!! I am interested to know is there anyone out there who thinks there is a relationship to breast cancer?
