My Dog Will Not Go Outside My Home. HELP!?!?

A fairly young pit bull puppy has stopped going outside entirely. Not to play, not to potty. What are the owners to do?

    • Call it outside and when it comes close say good boy or good girl give it a treat. do this a couple times it wont have trouble. pit bulls wanna please thier owners, but they only know when they are doing good thins when you give them praise

    • Give them water and food and wait about 45 minutes to an hour. Take them out on leash. If they do not potty, put them in their crate and wait another 15 minutes. Continue to do this until they go outside and pee. Eventually they will make the association.

Also, after they grasp the pee outside thing, then take extra special toys out for play ONLY when outside, they will eventually understand how much fun outside can really be. :-)

If these dont work, check out some pitbull forums, they have a plethora of extremely useful information. Pitbulltalk.com is one of my favorites.

      Good luck!
