The US currently has 103 Nuclear Power Plants
providing almost 20% of our electricity.
On September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 flew over Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant, before hitting the World Trade Center. If the reactor had been hit, 20 million people could have been contaminated with deadly radiation and thousands of square miles lost forever.
MIT concluded that a minimum of 1,500 new large reactors would be needed globally to offset coal carbon emissions.
Chernobyl's damaged nuclear reactor is leaking
lethal doses of radiation,and.....
"The next Chernobyl may
be Chernobyl itself."
P.S. There is no safe way to dispose of nuclear waste.
Now, consider that a 100 square mile solar farm could power the entire United States.
And then.....
Think again about
Nuclear Power!

Iran
http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=91553...The Shah of Iran was deposed in February 1979.
He was building two nuclear power plants.
Why has it taken 3o years for us to raise our eyebrows?
Has something changed recently?
'' The United States' spy agencies have already dismissed talk of an Iranian military nuclear program as complete tosh, and Iran's neighbors have expressed complete support for the country's civilian nuclear program.''

The world is also full of LNG (Liquified Natural Gas).
One tanker of Lng can provide 5% of USA 's daily energy requirement. It arrives as liquid and in a re gasification plant can be returned to 600 times its volume.
But if America wants IRAN to use this system only (they have the second largest quantity of gas reserves in the world) then the USA must lead by example........and Israel has Nuclear facilities in the region.
Once one country is allowed to have Nuclear it is only natural that the neighbors need to have the same......just to protect themselves.......''if you Nuke I'll Nuke you too''...er ...some such tit for tat.
