My ecospot highlights 3 different things real people are doing to save the earth: living simply, selling and using electric cars, and growing your own food. I want to show how people are already doing things to help reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and protect the environment. The final scene challenges the viewer to voice their reply with their own contribution to saving the earth.
I wasn't sure if I could solicit others to post their own videos describing what they are doing, but I think it would be a great grassroots campaign to involve citizen's media (such as YouTube and Current TV) and have everyone with a camera submit the things they are doing in their everyday lives.
Once everyone sees that we can make changes, even small changes, there will be hope for our future and our mother earth. We all need hope right now.
