    • For a party that espouses "family values" they have as their leadership an adulterer and the woman he met in a bar and committed that adultery with.

    • She is not my concern. Her husband is.

Seriously, as much as I think she's a lying, manipulative money-grubbing elitist with no perspective on the REAL America, she should not really be the focus of a news story.

We've all seen that before. First it was Rush Limbaugh, now her. So what?

She is not the one who has well documented history of voting against helping the American people (such as going so far as to deny Katrina victims anything, only to use it as a campaign crutch 3 years later), that is John McCain.

She doesn't have a PROVEN record of lying about said votes both on radio and television, only to continually shift the answers, John McCain does.

She didn't get in front of a live audience and state her complete lack of understanding the state of the economy. John McCain did.

BTW, if any of you want to know what either candidate (Biden, Obama OR McCain) voted on during their respective tenures, check ProjectVoteSmart.com or the Library of Congress. It's information they can't cover up.

    • Why do the majority of those responding attack her? She is not a professional speaker or a lawyer but what i saw and heard about her seemed impressive... we may not subscribe to her politics but i would have to say i would not want to compare my life accomplishments for children and fellow humans be compared to hers.... We know she loves her husband but she is definitely a woman with real depth based on her deeds... Reacting to people based on an R or D after their name is helping no one....in fact it is exactly what the politicians want.... Remember the majority of politicians are lawyers and as i like to say most lawyers use lies to divide the uninformed jury. We are the jury with one vote... Stay focused.... Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama are not on the ballot.......

    • The hatred and bitterness is really pathetic. At a very minimum this woman should be admired for the charitable work that she does. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that the McCains do more for their fellow man than 99 percent of you good liberals.

Nobody is mocking her charity work. We're talking about whether or not this individual has the ability to be a successful leader. Personally I'd like someone who doesn't slur and knows what Roe Vs Wade is.

    • I base speeches on how well they speak. The content is of no matter, because lying is the game; is it not?

Cindy is far better than Michelle and since I'm not into basing my view on who I'd vote for (since it's really neither) I'm far less bias.

I don't favor one over the other. Obama speaks well, his wife doesn't.

Bill speaks well and his wife doesn't.

McCain speaks alright and so does his wife.

      Palin speaks well.

It's not that hard to notice. It is, however, difficult to notice when you are so muddled in political fodder, like yourself. Right?

      No you can't.

You think you can just because I give a complement to one side doesn't mean I like it. or you'd be saying the same thing about Obama when I complemented him.

OH wait that wouldn't work with your agenda, now would it? Nope. So ignoring it is a great idea for you.

    • wow you guys are cold, even if cindy mccain had taken pills in the past atleast she had been proud of her pill popping country.

You think the free education that michelle and her brother got would have made her semi proud.

Considering most of you are pill popping marijuana heads, the fact you attack cindy on that issue is laughable.

She's not dead. Neither are the others that pop pills. Don't justify smoking while slamming pill popping. Hypocritical to do that, considering you don't like it when those that don't smoke slam smoking.

The land of you cannot tell people what they can and cannot do when you don't like the same done to you.

So either stop being a hypocrite so you can be self righteous or deal with the fact that someone is doing something you don't like and now you know how people feel about those that smoke.

No, i can attest that they are no where near the same person. Have talked a bit with each of these people.. and they are likable, have great sense of balance and humor. All of them, but no, they are not anything like each other personally. Wow. What a blanket comment.

Some of them have been on current forever. Example Look at J-jammer's record. Hardly a newbie. So I wouldn't put on the "airs" of the high horse of liberalism. They are not all republican even. But the do call a spade a spade... all of them.

Try actually getting to know people before you launch a personal attack, or do it in private messages, that way you don't get so embarrassed next time.

hey thanks for the comments guys.. I didn't want to write one.

Clay and Jammer are very similar in comment styles and opinions... if they aren't the same person I would be suprised. 90% of the time they both come into the same thread and say the exact same thing and bump each others comments. Could be a coincidence I suppose... er... yeah...

Clay(JJ) = (JJ)ammer... its not a personal attack... It is an observation of the fact that of similarities in the names and typical responses. I dont see why you think she is attacking these people. Far from a personal attack, more of an observation. Then you go to start calling her a liberal and shes on some sort of high horse, when that could be further from the truth. Hypocrite... But its ok for you to attack someone right? Right???

If you would have paid attention to her comment instead of attacking her you would have noticed she said "Quote: You'll see that once you spend a little time on Current." How is that calling any of those people a newbie? Did you bother reading what she said? Sounds more like a statement directed at a Retired_Airforce to me...

I don't think she has anything to be embarrassed about, possibly you should though for being so gullible and naive as to think people on current aren't capable of making multiple accounts to back up their own posts... There are plenty of people on here that do it, just watch peoples style of speech, type, whatever and you will see it.

There are people here on current that seem to be completely unproductive except to disagree with the majority and stir shit up. Now, I'm not saying that any of those above people do that... but it wouldn't suprise me.

My post is probably going to get deleted, but I just felt that VegaNerDiva is on the right track and wanted to back her up.

    • And this is news. So important in fact, that the staff had to pass up other posts again sitting here all day that have the ratings to get on tv... I think I may take a little hiatus from here. I'm really getting tired of seeing the frontpage inundated with political BS. You would think this was all that was going on in the world. Newsflash for McCain, Obama, Biden, and Palin ... the world doesn't revolve around any of you, although it is melting around us which no one really seems to care about. People are unemployed, hungry, living in poverty, ill, without healthcare, living in pollution, dying in wars, and dealing with the REAL world as they work two and three jobs to survive just so these elitist AHs can get on TV and tell us they give a damn when they don't. Do I really then give a damn what Cindy McCain has to say, or for that matter anyone in any party that is so out of touch with America? Hell no.

      END THIS WAR.

Hey Jan, although I agree that there are many global issues more important than this one instant speech, if we don't change the current course of our and other world governments we're all screwed. While we're all waging war on each other (Rich/poor, race/race, country/country), and the environment, the environment is slow beginning to strike back. This election will be over soon. We hear you don't go.

Considering the state of this country, Politics are UBER important right now. So important in fact, that the outcome of this election could very well change the face of this world for the following years to come. So , excuse us fellow Current-ers for being so ... uppity about it. We know there's other stuff going on, but THIS is CURRENT for US.

This might be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen posted here. And that's really saying something. The fact that somebody at Current thought this should go on TV says even more. Truly pathetic.

"What do other countries think of us? "
Would have been nice if Bush would've asked himself that very question at some point during his failed presidency.
