    • If you listen to his bull, Obama is behind every good idea in the Senate in the last couple years. Joe is a super scientist that absolutely knows the cause of climate warming. He's a friggin genious. It probably has nothing to do with our planet's path around the sun because it probably is exactly the same every year. WHERE THE HELL DID PAST WARMING AND COOLING COME FROM? DINOSAUR FARTS. YOU BALD HEADED IDIOT!

Are you kidding me? Do you have any knowledge of physics or astronomy? Apparently, from what you said, you don't.

And also, making multiple accounts to create a fake audience doesn't make you look right.

biden actually did a fact check and his statements are accurate. (coming from someone who actually knows their facts) if you cant dig through the layer of bull shit that both parties lay down maybe you would come to your conclusion... And Evil bizarro clinton goes down!

which is why Biden didnt specify that McCains plain ALso gave tax breaks the same middle class that Obama middle class proclaimed to be.. (although much less). and Palin didnt specify that while Obama did vote for budgetary bills on the middle class, they didnt necessarily raise taxes

    • So far, Palin is holding her own. Biden needs to really sink his teeth into her more aggressively. Quote the facts Biden this way viewers can research and confirm what is being said by both candidates! Forget about all the hype, this country is in a dire mess and we the people are going to pay the tab regardless of who is in office.

We need the Democrats in office NOW... Republicans love spending what they don't have... this is why we are in this mess... we owe it to George "Nucular" Bush... by the way he thaught Palin how to say it too... what a shame...

kewal91 has used the phrase "owned" in every single comment and response he has submitted.

      Laugh Out Loud

Maybe he should try to be a bit more eloquent whilst discussing politics.

eloquence just means using big words.. it creates ambiguity. you need a straightalker and straight words so it eliminates teh space of shifting stance instantly. no on can dictate to me on what kind of language to use and what kind to not..

and i used "owned" in all my responses-its called consistency

and if you wanted an example of her OWNING-i used it there- how about the one where she called him out for blaming bush on everythign and blaming the past when his (and baracks) campaing was about the future and change and what we we're going to do with our country...

She spun the spin. She did get her points across. Shes one of us? How many of us could have done, as well as Sarah Palin? The bar was pretty low.

Joe Biden talked about issues I care about. Joe Biden has a record I support. I dont support any politician 100% of the time. But, I see nothing in the McCain/Palin platform, which I support. I guess Im too old and too informed to be spun by a pretty face. Facts matter, spin needs to be kicked to the curb and move along.

Trying to spin leads me to believe they have no direction. Presidential decisions should be based on fact, not spin! Joe Six-Pack? Leave her at the bar and move along!

Hi HolyCity ... you are indeed right ... the original poster is an idiot --- (did you watch the video yet? it was a good response to the original poster - even though the poster obviously had no grasp of what was going on)

EVERY POLITICIAN USES TELEMPROMPTers, their speeches are pre-designed by someone else, yes EVEN baracks. but not in debates. that defeats the whole purpose...

Hey isabella98 and FLSunshine. Stop making multiple accounts. I'm suspecting you're one person who is creating multiple accounts to show a false audience that supports your arguments. It's not working.

Sarah didn't make any technical mistakes, but some questioned her style of debate. That was as far as it went. What she said was on target. If she didn't know something she didn't give a false answer.

Now Biden, he looked awesome, so presidential and mature, but what scared the hell out of me is how sincere he looked as Biden looked you in the face, and lied to YOU... 14 times. If that's what you are into, go for it.

      1. TAX VOTE: Biden said McCain voted “the exact same way” as Obama to increase taxes on Americans earning just $42,000, but McCain DID NOT VOTE THAT WAY.

      2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING: Joe Biden lied when he said that Barack Obama never said that he would sit down unconditionally with Mahmoud Ahmedinijad of Iran. Barack Obama did say specifically, and Joe Biden attacked him for it.

      3. OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING: Biden said, “Drill we must.” But Biden has opposed offshore drilling and even compared offshore drilling to “raping” the Outer Continental Shelf.”

      4. TROOP FUNDING: Joe Biden lied when he indicated that John McCain and Barack Obama voted the same way against funding the troops in the field. John McCain opposed a bill that included a timeline, that the President of the United States had already said he would veto regardless of it’s passage.

      5. OPPOSING CLEAN COAL: Biden says he’s always been for clean coal, but he just told a voter that he is against clean coal and any new coal plants in America and has a record of voting against clean coal and coal in the U.S. Senate.

      6. ALERNATIVE ENERGY VOTES: According to FactCheck.org, Biden is exaggerating and overstating John McCain’s record voting for alternative energy when he says he voted against it 23 times.

      7. HEALTH INSURANCE: Biden falsely said McCain will raise taxes on people's health insurance coverage -- they get a tax credit to offset any tax hike. Independent fact checkers have confirmed this attack is false

      8. OIL TAXES: Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax in Alaska -- she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it's not a windfall profits tax.

      9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS: Biden said that top military commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO's International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan.

      10. REGULATION: Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation -- he actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.

      11. IRAQ: When Joe Biden lied when he said that John McCain was “dead wrong on Iraq”, because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the war and differed on the surge strategy where they John McCain has been proven right.

      12. TAX INCREASES: Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000 wouldn’t see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more.

      13. BAILOUT: Biden said the economic rescue legislation matches the four principles that Obama laid out, but in reality it doesn’t meet two of the four principles that Obama outlined on Sept. 19, which were that it include an emergency economic stimulus package, and that it be part of “part of a globally coordinated effort with our partners in the G-20.”

      14. REAGAN TAX RATES: Biden is wrong in saying that under Obama, Americans won't pay any more in taxes then they did under Reagan.

She is not kicking ass. She is speaking like a student that is repeating by heart the right wing script. She sounded completely scripted throughout the whole debate. She did not had any original thoughts. She has to thank her political life to those who prepare her for this debate. At times she choose to ignore answering some questions because the answer to those were not given to her before hand.
I feel that is so stupid that some voters identify with her because supposedly "She is one of us," due to the fact that she chooses to speak like a hick. I would have thought that the logical thing to do is to choose somebody for this job that is more knowledgeable than must of us, not the opposite.

Biden is a proven Statesman. I trust Biden. I can look at his record. Sarah Palins record is in question in Alaska. Right now there is a bi-partisan investigation going on and she has told staff to ignore the subpoenas? She has encouraged her staff to ignore the law? Excuse me, but that certainly sounds like more of the same. George W.s has told his staff to ignore and fight subpoenas? Why? The facts are against them? FACTS MATTER!

Contempt of Court would be my answer! They are not above the law! Sarah Palin stated she thinks the Constitution gives the VP more power? My goodness, we have the Darth Vader now, how can she want more?

Its a fact that her town charged rape victims for their rape kits. What charges would she pass on to ordinary Americans? Victims would pay for being victims of crimes? Thats an Assault on Reason!.
