    • Perhaps you might want to factor in the "Pendulum of History" effect. Nixon, and RayGun would both be considered Lefties these days ( as far as Social Policy is concerned), and as we watch the Pendulum start to swing back, Obama will probably considered a Right of Center Blue Dog soon.

    • It is very frustrating living in a country that appears to be in a collective daze, so utterly mesmerized by what are actually show business personalities masquerading as "news" reporters, I can only say what I have said 1000 times before, party affiliation has not really mattered for at least 30 years, Democrats have become very reliable plutocrats and are puppets of their corporate puppet masters, America will not change for the better until plutocracy is ended and the plutocrats are either in prison or dead, it is very foolish to keep expecting a country that is a democracy in name only to act like one.
