Independent record stores are turning up the volume for Jay-Z, Kanye West and all to hear. The rappers forthcoming collaboration Watch the Throne, is set for release August 8 exclusively through iTunes, followed four days later with a physical release Aug. 12. A separate exclusivity deal exists with Best Buy giving the chain a two-week window to sell the deluxe CD version of the album until Aug 23.
