The annual Berkeley Kite Festival offers an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the most serious kite flyers in the world. Each year, a delegation from the Sode-cho Kite-Flying Society of Hamamatsu, Japan make their pilgrimage to Berkeley to bring us a bit of their kite-flying tradition.
