3rd annual WhiskyFest San Francisco will feature more than 200 of the world's finest, rarest, and most expensive, single malt and blended Scotch, Irish, bourbon, Tennessee, Japanese, Welsh, Canadian and other whiskies from around the world to sample in one Grand Ballroom. High-end rums, tequilas beer and other spirits will be represented as well.
The focus is on education, and many distillery representatives will be on hand at the pouring booths to explain how the whiskies are made. Seminars by top whisky experts run throughout the evening. Meet distinguished members of the whiskey community, and learn first-hand how their brands are made.
Ouch, seems a little pricey for one sitting, but then again, the buzz will be top-notch I'm sure. What do you think?

Thanks for the post about WhiskyFest and we've included so many extras for ticket holders this year, i can assure you the price is a great deal.
In addition to getting to taste whiskies (many of which are extremely rare and expensive) and whisky cocktails made by top Bay Area mixologists all evening, you also will enjoy a wonderful buffet, sit in on seminars by distillery managers, receive a Scottish crystal nosing glass, a tote bag and a one year subscription to Malt Advocate magazine.
