Snow Goose & Birding Festival
February 20 & 21, 2010
Headquartered in the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center in Stanwood with activities planned in the surrounding area and on Camano Island.
Guided tours of the Nature Conservancy’s Port Susan Preserve, Iverson Spit and Snow Goose & Trumpeter Swan bus tour are on this year’s event schedule.
Four Springs Lake Preserve on Camano Island will host “Everything Birds” art show featuring over 30 local artists. Artists will also give live demonstrations and conduct arts and crafts classes. Youngsters will be able to participate in a self guided treasure hunt, a homing pigeon release and other outdoor activities.
