When a person decides to get a ferret, they often wonder if they should get one or two. One thing a new owner has to look at is how long will they be in their cage alone? When ferrets are in a cage for most of the day while their owners are at work, ferrets can get pretty bored. They will try to play with toys and take naps but this is where having another ferret as a playmate comes in very handy. It helps them pass the time in their cage until their owner gets home.
Getting two ferrets can be a better route for a new owner to take. This provides their ferrets with a companion, a friend and a play buddy.

I don't know about ferrets, but after getting my cats I think all animals should have a partner. We were originally going to get just one cat but when we went to adopt him the owners told us his sister was very attached to him...so we got both. BEST DECISION EVER! They are kitty life partners- they play with each other, groom each other, cuddle with each other. Even pets get lonely- give them a friend!
