I think I wrote a decent review of a good movie. But I'm biased.

It was actually good. Not great..but good. I think that what I gathered from it is that teenagers have so much drama because of dating and nothing else. 95% of all the problems that were in this documentary was due to relationships. If that was removed and the focus was school and friendships there would have been far less problems and longer lasting friendships.
But that's just conjecture because it'll never, ever happen haha....it was worth watching.
Really goes to show that everyone cares what everyone else thinks. Just some people hide it better.

Thanks for participating in the conversation everyone. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.
This film is actually a documentary looking at the lives of 5 very different high school students from a small town in Indiana as they go through their senior year and broach adulthood. It doesn't even remotely resemble anything close to reality TV. The filmmaker, Nanette Burstein, also made "On The Ropes" and "The Kid Stays In The Picture."
As far as Current being a "news" platform, yes we do news, a lot. But we are so much more than that. Look at the topics listed across the top of the page. Current is about you, your world and your interests. And that's the global "you," so it encompasses just about anything and everything.
The Current Question is a quick Q&A with our guests from music, film, TV, sports, etc., and if the guests answering the question or the question itself aren't of interest to you then there are sure to be plenty of other things on Current that probably are.

Fair enough. I haven't seen it to judge it. That trailer clip looked awfully "MTV", though; thus my bitterly sarcastic post. I love good documentaries.

Next on Current, the cast of "the Real World: Acapulco" discusses risque behind the scenes footage...

Oh no!!! I thought current was a place where interesting or important issues were brought to the table and talked about. And then wasn't the posts popularity suppose to get it on TV... Hmm... I'm the fourth comment and a staff member posted it... Why is current playing more and more of the crap everyone else is playing? We need to end this fascination with "reality" entertainment...

What?
Entertainment is news too. Current is part of America where it's one of the highest creators of entertainment via TV and Film. It would be a travesty to exclude it just so more depressing news and negativity can take over for the sake of "real"---whatever that is.

My friend saw the screening for this a while back and he said it was great and got to talk to the director. So I am going to take his word for it.
