"The media mogul Rupert Murdoch has said he wants Sky News to become more like his rightwing US network Fox News, and revealed the extent of his editorial grip on his British newspapers to a House of Lords committee."
"Murdoch said Sky may become more like Fox, even if there was no overhaul of news impartiality laws by Ofcom, by copying its presentational style. He complained that changes had not been made because "nobody at Sky listens to me". The BSkyB chief executive is his son James."
"Murdoch restated his antipathy towards British legislators and regulators, saying the UK was "anti-success" and this had prevented him from expanding his media empire further."

I liked Bill Clinton but when he empowed people like the lunatic fringe Murdoch to be able to own multiple media outlets I wonder about his way of thinking. To pass a bill that loosened all the laws on Media ownership was not one of his brighter ideas as we all have sadly learned. it is time to amend the FCC rules and take control of the media out of one persons hands. We need honest and open and messured media now more than ever. Murdoch is one of Bushies henchmen.

Murdoch has built a media empire that focuses on brainwashing the masses and spreading right-wing ideology around the world.
