Vietnam has opened its first rehab clinic for teens addicted to video games.
Currently, the clinic has 50 patients enrolled in their eight week program.
While citizens of Vietnam have only had access to video games for four years, the number of players have grown exponentially to six million, accounting for half of their "internet users."
The rehab's treatment includes "developing their personalities through involvement in social work and other activities like music, painting, dancing, and sports."
It can't be any worse than it is here in the US. Should we look for the same kind of treatment?
I have lost friends to online games like world of warcraft; they could use something like this.
