They must submit to Israeli rule, or leave.
Apparently Jordan is the place to be a Palestinian these days. I certainly ain't Gaza.
The children of Jacob/Israel should retake the entire West Bank, the Golan Heights and all of Gaza.
There is no room for a Hamas-Jihad state in our sane, wise world.
God Bless the rightful rulers of the land, may the likes of General Sharon rise to defeat the aggression and hatred of the wicked.

I was just about to comment that everyone knows that Israel has been giving and giving and then they get Hamas killing innocent people for their generosity. I thought it was obvious that only the media wrote slanderous propaganda. Then I read Katanajon's remarks and I too say, Israel has needed to just move everyone out of their country and start a process of letting those who won't kill for religion in, and the rest can sink or swim. Like the Bushites, either they are with Israel, or they are terrorists. Hamas as a political power, anyone read Nostradamas!

if israel fails to completely obliterate the gazan people, how does that assure peace for jews in the region with other hostile neighbors?
besides all the name calling and blame game for a minute, how can the israeli military exercise into gaza open up peace, if that's what israel really wants? there is a short fall in the logic of most supporters of the gazan incursion. as if, punching someone in the face is enough to get them to stop attacking back. killing their son and daughter will only grow the contempt and raise more hatred towards jews the world over.
the military tactic, if israel is truly more superior, have proven to be ineffective time and time again yet israel persists. of course criminal activity need to stop but with all of israel's military might, they fail to stop it even with tactical assassinations or surgical strikes.
israel is failing in accordance to the roadway of peace. the only way to stop criminals from attacking israelis is to garner the support of the gazan population, not kill them, which only make the criminals more legitimate.
i already know of israel's attempts in raising the opportunities in gaza, including the settlement returns, greenhouses, energy, water, all that, and that criminals jeopardized all of it in the name of poverty, but a military campaign will never be effective in lulling the hatred for israel, especially if the killing of innocents further legitimizes hostilities.
you and i may not agree but i foresee an escalated war that will involve all of us whether we subscribe to zionism or not. at that moment, we'll realize how the blame game is moot.
but, until then, as much as pro-israel posters like datamined respond with "Go Israel!" at every news post of death, i feel obliged to post the other hand even if i have my own ties to jerusalem and tel aviv.

Israel didn't go into Gaza to secure a peace. They went into Gaza to stop the rocket attacks. In order to have peace, one has to have a peace partner. And so once again I'll ask . . . name someone . . . ANYONE . . . within the Hamas Governement in Gaza that stands ready to negotiate peace with Israel. I'll wait.

you're right, there needs to be peace partners for it to happen and israel rejected every truce offer from hamas in the past and the US blocks any cease-fire resolution by the UN.
if the point of the campaign into gaza is to stop the rockets, it hasn't worked (ever) and will never until either all muslims are expelled from gaza and west bank or israel changes its apartheid policies and fascist actions against arabs both in the occupied territories and within its own borders. which is more likely?

Technically Hamas is not a threat to us. However, Hamas is a major threat to balance of power in the Middle East. That is where the lubricant that greases the wheels of the world comes from. Remember when the world economy was strong and the price of oil was $150.00 a barrel? It's gonna be that way again and our economy is not guaranteed to catch up with China, India, and Europe. If the Middle East goes to hell every nation's economy follows. Mass chaos and starvation. So I guess I was wrong, Hamas is a threat to everything from you and me, to the U.N., the Arab League, to the smallest microorganisms that would be wiped out in the advent of a full scale nuclear war.

@pressrecord - you write about Israel violating the "cease-fire" on june 19th.
Guess what happened right before June 19?
16 June 2008
* Israeli killed by mortar bomb that hit factory in Kibbutz Nir-Oz in the western Negev
* One man was wounded when a Grad-type rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in the Old Muslim Cemetery near Ashkelon’s city market. Several other people suffered from shock.* Another rocket exploded inside the city. Gaza's Hamas rulers took responsibility for the strike.
12 June 2008
Falsely blaming Israel for an explosion that occurred in a Bet Lahiya residential building earlier in the day, the Hamas-backed terrorists in Gaza launched dozens of rockets and mortar bombs into Israeli territory. On Thursday afternoon 3 Grad (Kaytusha) rockets, 18 Kassam rockets and 22 mortar bombs were launched at Israel. As a result of the Hamas fire, a 59 year-old Israeli woman was wounded in Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, as well as a Palestinian man at the Erez crossing.
The IDF also foiled a large-scale terror attack when Palestinian terrorists attempted to bring an apparently booby-trapped bulldozer close to the border fence in the northern Gaza Strip under cover of the heavy rocket and mortar fire. The bulldozer approached to within 50 meters of the fence near the Erez Crossing when soldiers opened fire. The terrorist fled back to Gaza.
It is noteworthy that the day after the Israeli Cabinet decides to exhaust the dialogue with Egypt in order to achieve a state of calm, the Hamas decides to unleash a heavy barrage of rocket and mortar fire on Israeli population centers. Once more, the Hamas terrorists are deliberately targeting Israeli civilians.
Behavior of this type reveals the true nature of Hamas as an extremist terrorist organization whose purpose is not peace, but rather jihad.

Israel witdrew from Gaza in August of 2005. A cease fire was part of the terms of that deal. The Egyptian brokered ceasefire that fell apart was only the latest in a series of attempts by more rational Arab Powers to bring Hamas into line.
In the interim, Hamas has amassed tons of arms, hiding them in schools, mosques and in civilian homes. Before you start concocting cockamamie scenarios to justify evil, which always seem to begin at whatever point in time is convenient to your argument, know that there are more than a few of us who are on to your game.

The Israeli army violated the truce three times on June 19th and that these violations came only a few hours after the ceasefire practically started in the morning.
The Center reported that Israeli navy boats fired four shells at fishermen in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, while soldiers opened fire at farmers east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Also, eyewitnesses reported that soldiers fired at farmers in Khuza’a town, near Khan Younis, and fired at a number of houses in AL Qarara town, east of the city; no injuries were reported.
On June 19th, the Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, issued a press release stating it is committed to the truce but warned that it will retaliate if Israel resumed its attacks.

"Israel never observed the cease-fire to begin with. From the beginning, it announced a “special security zone” within the Gaza Strip and announced that Palestinians who enter this zone will be fired upon. In other words, Israel announced its intention that Israeli soldiers would shoot at farmers and other individuals attempting to reach their own land in direct violation of not only the cease-fire but international law.
Despite shooting incidents, including ones resulting in Palestinians getting injured, Hamas still held to the cease-fire from the time it went into effect on June 19 until Israel effectively ended the truce on November 4 by launching an airstrike into Gaza that killed five and injured several others.
Israel’s violation of the cease-fire predictably resulted in retaliation from militants in Gaza who fired rockets into Israel in response. The increased barrage of rocket fire at the end of December is being used as justification for the continued Israeli bombardment, but is a direct response by militants to the Israeli attacks.
Israel’s actions, including its violation of the cease-fire, predictably resulted in an escalation of rocket attacks against its own population."
