I'm all for Branson telling them to look elsewhere. I think people are insane to strike in all but the very most dire of reasons. Its no different than extortion.
If they think they should make more money, then I'm all for them finding a job that pays more.
Anyone that has gone out on strike knows that you rarely break even with the time you lost. I've been there and done that. It hurt me for years.

In the context of what he said, it seems a lot less offensive than what I first thought. My initial impression was Branson had lost his hippy ways and that he was telling the strikers 'if you strike, you'll lose your job' but in reality he was saying 'I know we pay less than other airlines but we think we're more personal and better to work for. However if money is your biggest priority, they'll pay better'.
Which seems unfortunate for his workers but a lot less harmful than I first thought.

After this I don't think he'll be getting many more press shots like this!
