Big Govt, Small Citizen

When the citizen no longer has control of the government, then liberty is lost to statism.

    • Interesting. . . it is perceived that Republicans waste money, yet it is the Democratic party that is currently the kings of tax and spend - in the middle of a economic collapse. . . not exactly an example of clear headed thinking in my humble opinion!

Except, the truth is that you THINK that democrats are the kings of tax and spend, simply because the Republicans told you that.

In reality, taxes on the middle and working classes go UP under Republican administrations, and DOWN under Democratic administrations.

And, under Republican administrations, government spending goes through the roof- to the military.

Yes, your humble opinion is NOT exactly an example of clear headed thinking.

And this is from the website that you picked:

"The name comes from that old joke about the dart-throwing, stock-picking monkeys. A second reason for the name is that it carries a built-in disclaimer: this site is obviously not claiming to be an authority on anything. We try hard to be accurate, but you should always double check whatever you see here with additional sources."

... Heh, you have to be right, even when you're wrong... go figure.

If you think we made a mistake, let us know. You can also send in your ideas for a future topic. And if you feel an urge to throw a little praise our way, well you just go right ahead.'

They also like us at Barron's, The Chicago Tribune, CNN, Money Magazine, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal ... and NPR's Marketplace show (we have a nice face for radio, apparently).

I'll put credence on this site over crooksandliars any day of the week.!

I'm not saying that republican administrations waste money. Rather, the last Republican administration destroyed money. Never to be seen again. Trillions on the burnpile of war.

Thanks, Mr. Neo-con "elected officeholder", that's just what we need to push our once great country into massive debt to the very willing lenders of the world. They lend, administrations (unnamed) destroy. Chaotic conditions in at least three countries. Ours included.

Awesome trick. Trouble is, even our wealthy will be left unprotected from the decay of our cities. I'm sure Mr. Admin-jihad loves it.

You two are the epitome of meat in the trap. The elites of the left & right work in synchronicity to subvert all others while answering to a single master. Quit wasting your time bickering with one another and get with the reality that is them vs. We The People.

I'm not sure that the "wealthy" provide the jobs: "Corporations" are the employers -- The Wealthy are just more adept at sucking the profits off the top.

And hey: It's OK to be a parasite on the corporations, but the least of us tend to be parasites on the public larder.

Why do you wealthy feel so righteous?

    • I like Dennis Prager, every word he spoke is true. Personal Responsibility is paramount to achieving ones full capabilities and great gifts. Are we willing to help ourselves and find the true meaning of compassion for ourselves and others? As Americans I know we are, it is our heritage, it is our calling.

    • Yup. The only citizen that has control of the government is the King.

Everyone else bend over. (If you are rich, you can hire someone to bend over for you)
