$10,000 reward offered for scientific proof of H1N1 vaccine safety and effectiveness

(NaturalNews) In conjunction with NaturalNews, the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (www.ConsumerWellness.org) has publicly offered a $10,000 reward for any person, company or institution who can provide trusted, scientific evidence proving that any of the FDA-approved H1N1 vaccines being offered to Americans right now are both safe and effective.

Vaccine promoters keep citing their "science" in claiming that H1N1 vaccines are safe and effective. NaturalNews and the CWC ask one simple question: Where is this science?

The $10,000 reward will be issued to anyone who can produce scientific evidence meeting the following criteria:

• A scientific paper, published in a peer-reviewed medical journal, describing the results of a minimum of two Phase III trials structured as randomized, placebo-controlled scientific clinical trials of an FDA-approved H1N1 vaccine currently in distribution, carried out on a minimum of 1,000 people (for statistical significance) for a duration of at least 90 days. The inclusion criteria for both clinical trials must be properly randomized so that the participants are representative of the entire U.S. population and not merely a desired sub-group selected to skew the research outcome. Inclusion criteria must be provided to NaturalNews for verification.

• At the same time, the vaccine must be scientifically demonstrated to be effective at reducing H1N1 swine flu infections. Scientifically speaking, it must be demonstrated to reduce the death rate from H1N1 infections by a minimum of 50 percent (relative numbers, not absolute, since so few die from H1N1 in the first place). In other words, if 100,000 people get infected with H1N1 and 100 might normally die, the study must show that fewer than 50 vaccinated people die. This would equate to a 50 percent reduction in mortality from swine flu. If the vaccine is less than 50 percent effective, then it doesn't really offer much benefit for such a mild flu with extremely low fatality rates.

• Because vaccine promoters describe the vaccine as "safe enough for children and expectant mothers" and because vaccine promoters insist that there are absolutely no risks of long-term side effects, the study must demonstrate that the vaccine causes no statistically significant increase in side effects of any kind for a minimum of one year following the vaccine injection. You might think this is impossible to produce since the vaccine hasn't even existed for one year and couldn't have possibly been tested to see whether it produces neurological side effects in the one-year timeframe. That is exactly my point.

• Finally, due to widespread corruption and dishonesty in clinical trials that are funded by drug companies, these clinical trials must not be funded in whole or in part with drug company money. Funding for the studies must come from truly independent sources such as a government institution or a university with no financial ties to the vaccine manufacturer.

This is not a satire story or a parody. This $10,000 reward for scientific proof of the H1N1 vaccine safety and effectiveness is being offered in all seriousness. The offer is valid through March 31, 2010.

If proof of the H1N1 vaccine safety and effectiveness is produced in accordance with the reasonable requirements published here, NaturalNews will publish a public apology regarding our condemnation of H1N1 vaccines and issue a $10,000 check to the winner of the reward within five business days. Climategate Scientist Received Over Half A Million From Obama Stimulus Package

Corporate media completely silent on latest development with warming fraudsters

A leading scientist involved in the climategate scandal received over half a million dollars in federal economic stimulus funds from the Obama Administration last Summer, it has been revealed.

Professor Michael Mann of Penn State University, currently under investigation by the institution itself for his role in massaging climate data and hijacking the peer review process to advance the myth of anthropogenic global warming, was awarded a grant of $541,184 by the government in June 2009.

Mann, the creator of the now infamously discredited Hockey Stick Graph, landed money that came directly from the U.S. Treasury's economic stimulus package, reveals the Washington free-market think-tank group The National Center For Public Policy Research (NCPPR).

The official justification for the grant, authorized under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, was labeled as "climate change research".

An NCPPR press release, published today, calls for the funds to be returned:

"It's outrageous that economic stimulus money is being used to support research conducted by Michael Mann at the very time he’s under investigation by Penn State and is one of the key figures in the international Climategate scandal. Penn State should immediately return these funds to the U.S. Treasury," said Tom Borelli, Ph.D., director of the National Center's Free Enterprise Project.

The funds Mann is receiving from the government come in addition to another award to Penn State University researchers of $1.9 million in stimulus funds to study the effects of climate change on the spread of infectious diseases.

NCPPR further commented in its press release:

"It's no wonder that Obama's stimulus plan is failing to produce jobs. Taxpayer dollars aren't being used in the ways most likely to spur job creation. The stimulus was not sold to the public as a way to reward a loyalist in the climate change debate. Nor was the stimulus sold as a way to promote the Obama Administration's position on the global warming theory...As is often the case, political considerations corrupt the distribution of government funds," said Deneen Borelli, a fellow with the National Center's Project 21 black leadership network.

One With Courage... Is A Majority! Will You Stop the Tank of Tyrrany?

The Chinese people went to Tian'anmen (Gate of Heavenly Peace) Square by the hundreds of thousands. They did not know what would happen to them, to their families and yet they came. They protested and fought for their liberty in a country that has rarely seen any. When the soldiers came with their guns and batons they argued their case and pleaded with the soldiers to defend the people. After all, they were brothers and sons and fathers of the very same people they had been ordered to oppress. All they knew is they wanted rights and liberties. They wanted to be free. Then, the massacre began and still they shouted as they ran and dodged bullets. All the while, others were dropping around them. How could their own countrymen attack them? The worst was yet to come. The tanks are spotted heading towards the crowds. One single man with courage walked up to the front tank and blocked it's path. The driver tried to steer around the man but the man persisted. This man walks up to the tank and climbs aboard. He talks to the soldiers aboard the tank and gives them a gift. As the man climbs down there is movement in the tank. The tank tries to maneuver around the man and again he gets in the tanks way. Several soldiers come outside and talk with him and he instructs them to turn the tanks around. Soldiers and citizens were all moved by the courage of this one man. Sadly, China is still under a Communist government.

Do we need to have tanks rolling down the streets before we notice the signs of tyranny? Our jobs are disappearing, the dollar is shrinking like new jeans in the dryer. You have been robbed of your grandchildrens' tax money by the Federal Reserve and Timothy Geithner. Your government wants to monitor your every move and even scan your brain for your thoughts. Is it apathy that keeps you from making a move? The Chinese people came unarmed to fight an armed army. In this country all we need to do is make some noise and demand some answers. What is stopping the American people? Where is your voice? All of the signs of fascism beating on our door but where is the outrage? The latest bombing...it looks like rogue elements of the government were involved. The killing of 7 CIA agents, done by a CIA triple agent, so they're saying. 9/11....the facts are adding up in favor of inside job. Stand up people, before it's too late. Remember, if we wait for one person to stand for everyone once the tank is rolling it's already too late. The time is now to make your voice heard.
