Bible tracts...come on. Church is boring, Halloween is supposed to be fun. We learned those houses and avoided them. I give out chocolate and nerds.

i grew up in christian school and we never trick or treated. we had "harvest fest" which consisted of a haunted house of different ways you could end up in hell and in the end jesus battled lucifer to the death. it was so damn awkward man, and my mom thought it was the greatest thing ever.
so i don't know what it means to trick or treat but i enjoy living vicariously through every one else's stories.

People usually spend the most for Christmas so if you said no to CHRISTIANism you'd save more money than by not celebrating Pegan holidays. Easter also adds expenses. By the way Pegans are very into the Harvests which are huge cost savers.

I actually really like Laffy Taffy. And fun size chocolate bars rock. I know the full size ones would be better, but let's be realistic here. It's expensive to give out full size bars to every kid who comes around... especially when some of us don't stop trick-or-treating until we're 19.
I always hated getting Smarties. They gross me out.

in today's health-crazed society, i'm sure a lot of parents would love their kids getting more nutritious foods. but come on, it's halloween! you're supposed to eat candy & not brush your teeth until it's all gone so they can rot over.

Vierotchka:
Vierotchka, I totally understand where your coming from. But there are so many "crazies" here in the US. That most parents would never let their kids eat food that was prepared by hand. You just can't trust people. Who knows what they did to the treat before it is given out. Kids here are warned every year, if the candy isnt sealed in a wrapper at the factory dont eat it.

This guy's a little fussy isn't he? I hope he comes to my house, I wonder how he would like a "large" tube of Preparation H. None of those sample sizes for him. I wonder if I'll be number eleven next year, or maybe he'll re-think his attitude completely.
