The Home Office has won its appeal in the House of Lords to deport the radical Muslim cleric Abu Qatada to Jordan.
The law lords said that Qatada, once described by a judge as "Osama Bin Laden’s right hand man in Europe", could be sent back to Jordan where he faces terror charges, even though they acknowledged he could face torture.
