CIA's worst-kept secret - Declassified files confirm United States collaboration with Nazis

"Honest and idealist ... enjoys good food and wine ... unprejudiced mind..."

That's how a 1952 Central Intelligence Agency assessment described Nazi ideologue Emil Augsburg, an officer at the infamous Wannsee Institute, the SS think tank involved in planning the Final Solution. Augsburg's SS unit performed "special duties," a euphemism for exterminating Jews and other "undesirables" during the Second World War.

Pried loose by Congress, which passed the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act three years ago, a long-hidden trove of once-classified CIA documents confirms one of the worst-kept secrets of the Cold War – the CIA's use of an extensive Nazi spy network to wage a clandestine campaign against the Soviet Union.
The CIA reports show that U.S. officials knew they were subsidizing numerous Third Reich veterans who had committed horrible crimes against humanity, but these atrocities were overlooked as the anti-Communist crusade acquired its own momentum. For Nazis who would otherwise have been charged with war crimes, signing on with American intelligence enabled them to avoid a prison term.
"The real winners of the Cold War were Nazi war criminals, many of whom were able to escape justice because the East and West became so rapidly focused after the war on challenging each other,"

    • I like the post!!! But we have known for many years we were in collaboration with the nazi's. IBM our leading computer company at the time made alot of money making the computers that ran the bar codes on the jewish people in the camps, it gave them a code telling the nazis based on a predetermined criteria of males and females body types how long one could be worked and how hard before they could kill them and move on to the next "slave" Dupont a major paint company at the time funded ammunition and weapons for the nazis while laundering counterfeit american money into our country and then redistributing it, with help from the many american nazis. Alot of people forget that before we turned our backs on the nazis who we were in cahoots with ,america had an overwhelming amount of nazi social groups and had more than 1 mill memebers. Of course we let them escape war crimes in turn for working for us. We sabotaged them after being in an alliance with them for several years, and for only one reason....money. I believe we confiscated over half of all the gold the nazis had, which they had in turn been confiscating from countries they took over. We just let them do the dirty work for us and once we saw a easy acces point while they were busy with the russians we came in there backdoor which originally we were watching for them and took all the gold. America F**K Yeah coming to save the mother F**king day!!!!
