Like one of our writers put it this week, it's got "sticky icky" in good ol' London Town. You know what that means folks - streaky self-tanned pins out, man sandals and the deadly Sunday combo of sunstroke and hangovers. Oh...and isn't there like, a soccer game on or something??
Redux Warehouse Party
There should only be one answer when you're asked 'What are you doing tonight?' at lunch today. 'REDUX WAREHOUSE JAM'. Why? Because old school reggae legend Dawn Penn will be no-no-no-ing her way through the night while new school reggae champ Lady Chann churns out garage, grime and bashment bangers along some rather heavyweight dubstep talents. Worth the ride to Peckham? Yes.

Shunt Closing Party
No one can keep track of whether Shunt, the multi-use creative lounge in the cavernous arches of London Bridge station, is coming or if it's going. Its Money show is definitely still on, but in spite of the fact the bar JUST reopened its doors, we're now told it's closing again to make way for some concrete fillings. Long story. Tonight sees what they're saying is the closing soiree of the alt-tastic venue - so wear something weird and head on down.

To start the end of your weekend, I suggest heading down to Meditation in the Park, where someone called Guru Kaur (and likely another yogi or two) will be on hand to teach you how to stop thinking, and get into a perfectly peaceful state. That is, before hurling yourself into complete frantic agony watching England go head to head with the Germans later in the afternoon and then drinking in sorrow/joyful revelation alongside Brazilian Samba dancers at Cargo.
