The truth about the Life Saving medication known as Methadone. I have been in the field of MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) for over 25 years. I am sick and tired of hearing all of the Methadone MYTHS that still exist after over 45 years of using this medication in MAT. Methadone has been used effectively and safely in all of that time, yet the general public is still very uneducated about this form of treatment. I hope to use this group to change the public perception of MAT.
