Most people end there so called golden chase after they have faced failures multiple times in achieving it. They just suffice themselves by giving some vague justifications of not able to achieve what they actually wanted. A man gets so much frustrated or becomes so clueless of a situation when after trying again and again the dream of his life is not coming true. But the situation is justifiable to an extent, since there is no timeline or sure shot period in which all his dreams will come true. So, the million dollar question arises – “How can one still keep their dream alive? “.
It’s probably, the trickiest of the question to be answered but surely there is an answer to it and that’s the only reason why god has given us this unique and supreme power to dream, isn’t it? So, to live up to what we want, to what we want to be, to live up to our dreams, here are the 10 ways which will help us in achieving our Dream.

"God" has given us this unique and supreme power to dream, you say? Why on earth did you have to bring God into this? Instant turn off. No thanks, God can keep it, cos I don't want it.

Thats why I said God has given us this unique Power, The Power to Dream. - 3 years ago

frizzlecat, I agree.
Why is it that people don't feel these kind of articles are complete without just a little sprinkling of religion?

@Fearzen
Let me tell you why I mentioned the God in it and probably I m the best person to answer the question as I wrote the article.
When I was writing this article I was not thinking of specifically mentioning the God, in fact I was not at all thinking about the God. But I reckon this is a result of me believing and having faith in the almighty. Somehow when I m in the positive flow of my thoughts, it forms a connection to the sprituality, which I believe is connected strongly to God and unknowingly I felt the need of praising the God for giving us the unique power to dream.

Well, at least we're not bitching at each other about God, and all the usual stuff which happens when someone believes and someone else doesn't. This was actually quite a constructive discussion we had here, to my surprise. Usually, I have to SuperGlue my mouth shut when it comes to God, and even that doesn't always work =p But yeah, good reply Vivek_Nanda, about why you mentioned God. Informative. It's a shame we all can't just get along all of the time, no matter what we believe. But this is a start.

I appreciate your keen observation of the fact that "we're not bitching at each other about God". I reckon there is a very valid reason to "why we are not bitching" as all of us cannot think alike, we will have different views/opinions but at the same time we should have that ability to understand/listen to what other person is trying to say(despite the fact we might not agree to it), which is exactly being demonstrated by all of us who are engaged in this discussion. I agree to you that "it's a shame we all can't just get along all of the time" but I also strongly believe that by displaying a quality of listening to an opposing view we have conquered over the shame to a large extent. I m confident that these starts will help us get along despite we having different views.
I thank you for putting your views and giving me opportunity to discuss what I feel. - 3 years ago

You're absolutely welcome, Vivek. It just so happens this was the most mature and... strangely calming... discussion about God I've ever had on the Internet. And it's because of your reply to Fearzen. You gave a response which wasn't simply ALL about God, it was about you and your sub-conscience, which was connecting to God. Basically, this is the first time I haven't had God shoved right in my face or been accused of going to hell. Which is nice. Like...really nice. I think the "logical, scientific atheists" would be far more willing to even talk about God when it's not shoved in our face. I feel strangely contented atm, as though I've been anticipating a rather unpleasant event, which has decided not to happen.
There's a good vibe going on in this article. It's peaceful, here.

I m glad that this article served some purpose. When I wrote this article, the whole purpose was to share something, which would motivate an individual to NOT give up on what they really want in life. I associated the Dreams with what an individual wants, which might bring peace and satisfaction into one's life but never I thought it will take the discussion to God. Somehow, somewhere the question was popped about the God. I now see your words- " There's a good vibe going on in this article. It's peaceful, here" and then I again infer that the article has served its purpose of peace and satisfaction( which I initially thought) to someone but through a different channel. I m amazed. Its making me think that how the things are connected and how even going so far away from something the ending was the same, the same intended ending. The incident has again made me believe that there is always a purpose to everything and until it is served it's not over. We are here to live a meaningful life and we are born to do our things - "Our Karma".

I'm chuckling to myself inside, because, while I don't particularly disagree with anything you said, for me personally, all, or at least the vast bulk, of the positive "vibes" experienced here can be logically explained.
But even still, I gained some sort of benefit from all this, and you gained what was needed to satisfy your goal. We both gained something good, whether we actually knew what we wanted before hand or not, which I personally didn't. I had no particular preconceptions about this article, I was mostly reading for the sake of reading.
What's surprising, now that I think about it, is that we both, generally, sit on opposite sides of the fence, yet have not had any confrontation over our differences. That feels unusual, but also good. It's how things should be.
