Bicyclists Get Dapper for DC's Tweed Ride!

It's an event that's sweeping the globe! First in London, then San Francisco, now Washington, DC!
Dandies and Quaintrelles put on their finest tweeds and throwback gear, polished up their vintage bikes and took to the streets of DC this past Sunday. The glorious bike ride brought together over 300 dapper ladies and gents, in character, as they rode down Capitol Hill, through downtown DC, and past the White House. NPR reported that the First Lady even took a peek at all the commotion outside.
This was DC's first Tweed Ride... the first effort by a new DC social group called "Dandies and Quaintrelles" The Tweed Ride raised money for the elderly and Alzheimer's research.
Look for future Tweed Rides coming to a city near you!

This was really the best way to spend a Sunday! Great fashion, a friendly crowd... biking through my favorite city and shooting video in HD. Seriously... how could it get any better. I wish every day was Tweed Ride Day!
