I bet officials at LG Electronics are happy to hear about this story.
It turns out that a colleague, and not an exploding mobile phone, killed a man in South Korean last Wednesday.
Preliminary autopsy results suggested damage to [the victims] internal organs was too great to be caused by a cell phone explosion.
The co-worker later confessed to accidentally striking the victim with a drilling vehicle.
A statement from LG Electronics read: LG rigorously tests all the products not only for functionality and design, but safety as well"
